Additionally, the album was released in Australia on 20 February 1995 by Polygram and Mercury Records. The album was produced by her long-time collaborator and then-husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange. All songs on the album were written by Shania Twain and Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

The album was a major commercial success worldwide and remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, selling nearly 20 million copies. In addition, the album sold 4 million copies in the year it was released, becoming her biggest-selling recording at the time. It was certified 12x Platinum by the The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on December 1, 2000 for shipments of 12 million across the United States. The album The Woman in Me is credited to have influenced the sound of contemporary country music. The album was ranked #8 on CMT's list of 40 Greatest Albums in Country Music in 2006. I think The Woman in Me is one of the most important albums in country music history. Additionally, at the time of its release, The Woman in Me album had a huge impact on the country music landscape as a whole and female artists in particular. The Woman in Me album is truly a unique achievement. There are great songs on the album, but I can say that my favorite song is "If You're Not In It For Love (I'm Outta Here)".

The song "If You're Not In It For Love (I'm Outta Here)" is a really great song. Both the song, the lyrics and Shania Twain's singing style are truly amazing. The song is also great stylistically, with its crunchy, hard rock edge and hand-clapping chorus. Also, I can say that I love the video of the song. Actually, Shania Twain looks great in all the videos, but this video is my favorite.
