DAX PARAGON NFT Card Review & SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! DAX PARAGON
Let's talk about DAX PARAGON this week for the Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge. Dax Paragon is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attack and has useful abilities for the team. Also, Dax Paragon is an Epic Card in the Life Unit that belongs to the Chaos Legion edition. Dax Paragon can be very effective in battles with his powerful abilities, frankly, I can say that he is much more effective when used with a good strategy.
Especially with the Amplify Ability, Dax Paragon* can be very effective in battles and very useful for the team. If I use monsters with Magic Reflect Ability, Thorns Ability, Return Fire Ability in battle, I add Dax Paragon to my team without hesitation. Likewise, if the battle ruleset has at least one of the Counterspell, Briar Patch, or Fire & Regret rules, I wouldn't hesitate to add Dax Paragon to the team. Because in such battles, the back damage dealt to enemies is increased by +1 thanks to Dax Paragon's Amplify Ability. This makes it easier to destroy enemies.
The Battle Rules I Mentioned Above
- Counterspell : All Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.
- Fire & Regret : All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.
- Briar Patch : All Monsters have the Thorns ability
Abilities Mentioned Above
- Return Fire Ability : When hit with a Ranged attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.
- Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
- Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.
Also, Dax Paragon only costs 2 mana, which is a huge advantage because I have a chance to use the Amplify Ability in low mana battles. But Dax Paragon doesn't have much of a chance to dodge enemy attacks and has low health so it's easy to destroy it. Therefore, it is necessary to use Dax Paragon with a good strategy when using it in battles. I make sure to keep Dax Paragon away from enemy attacks and put him in mid positions because he can be very useful to the team as long as he's alive.
Dax knew nothing but a life of luxury since the time he was born. Growing up in a mansion overflowing with the finest of items, his wealthy parents were business and landowners that dominated the competition in the city of Lyveria. Their business was called Paragon Enterprises. An only child, Dax was often left to his own devices as his parents ran their enterprise. Often it felt like the entire mansion was his to do with as he pleased.
When he became old enough, Dax was given his large inheritance to begin his own sect of his family's business, which he called Dax's Consultations. He would be called upon by the wealthy, the greedy, and the powerful to consult for them. He would analyze their business practices, their competition, and provide advice. He became renowned for his success, and was thought of as the “secret ingredient” to any tycoon's business. And because of this, Dax soon became immersed in a world of spoils. He lived a fast life of luxury, of gold, and of stabbing anyone in the back that tried to cross him. Often literally.
When the Chaos Legion turned their eye on Dax, he looked right back and was intrigued. He saw new power that he hadn't yet known. He communicated with their intermediaries until the day the Chaos Legion invaded the Splinterlands. Dax was then graced with an audience before Silus of the Rift himself. During this conversation, Dax proved himself well-informed, cunning, and ambitious. He was given the opportunity to be an advisor for the most powerful person he'd ever come across. Dax now serves closely at Silus' side, advising him on strategies to control the Splinterlands. Source
DAX PARAGON has the Amplify Ability at level 2, and the Affliction Ability at level 6.
- Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.
- Affliction Ability : When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
I upgraded my card to level 2 so that the DAX PARAGON has the Amplify Ability. I also need Affliction Ability badly in some battles, so I'm planning to level up my card to 5. I think Dax Paragon is one of those monsters that every team will need. I would like to say that he helped me win some battles, even the tough ones.
DAX PARAGON, An EPIC NFT Card, is currently starting at $01.66 on the market. The Gold DAX PARAGON NFT card is currently starting at $6.95 on the market. In addition, it is possible to rent the Regular one for about 0.10 DEC and the Gold one for about 3.00 DEC per day. These prices are valid for level 1 (The gold one starts from level 2), prices may increase as the level rises. Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) is currently trading at $0.0007352.
Fog of War
Weak Magic
Mana Cap 40
- Fog of War rule means Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities.
- Weak Magic rule means Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
Considering the ruleset of the battle, it's not very advantageous to use Melee Monsters in such battles, so I decided to use Ranged Attack Monsters. But on the front line, I had to make a strong defense and the front line of the team should not be destroyed easily. I thought the opposing player would prefer Magic Attack Monsters So I thought it would be advantageous to put a Monster with the Magic Reflect Ability in the first position. I also decided to put Dax Paragon on the back line to increase back damage to Magic attackers by 1. I also wanted my team's front line not to be destroyed easily, so I took that into account when placing monsters in the top three positions. I've also added a monster with a Tank Heal Ability to my team so that the frontline isn't easily destroyed. And in the last position I decided to put a monster that can attack targets powerfully. Considering this strategy, I formed my team.
I chose GENERAL SLOAN as Summoner as I will be using Ranged Attack Monsters in this battle. GENERAL SLOAN gives +1 Ranged Attack to all friendly Ranged Attack Monsters, so the Ranged Attack Monsters on my team could attack the target more powerfully.
Pelacor Conjurer has no attack power and has Flying and Magic Reflect Abilities at level 4. The most important reason why I chose him in this battle was because he had the Magic Reflect Ability. I put the Pelacor Conjurer in first position in my team.
- Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
- Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.
Xenith Monk is a monster that can attack the target with Melee Attack. Also Xenith Monk has 1 Melee Attack, 4 Speed, 6 Health, and the Heal Ability at level 3. The most important reason why I chose him in this battle was that he had the Heal Ability. He would defend the front line after Pelacor Conjurer was destroyed, so I put him in second position.
- Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.
Vulguine is a monster with the Scavenger Ability that can attack the target with Melee Attack. The main reason I chose Vulguine in this battle was because Vulguine had the Scavenger Ability, and I put it in the third position. If the monster in the first two positions on the front line was destroyed, Vulguine would defend the front line. And thanks to the Scavenger Ability, Vulguine's health could increase significantly until Vulguine went to the front line.
- Scavenger Ability : Gains 1 max health each time any monster dies.
In this battle, I put DAX PARAGON in fourth position in the team. I have given detailed information about Dax Paragon above, I recommend you to read it. The reason for choosing Dax Paragon in this battle was that Dax Paragon could both attack targets with magic attack and increase the back damage of Pelacor Conjurer to attackers.
Venari Crystalsmith is a monster that can attack the target with Ranged Attack. Also Venari Crystalsmith has 1 Ranged Attack, 3 Speed, 5 Health, and the Tank Heal Ability at level 3. The most important reason why I chose her in this battle was that she had the Tank Heal Ability. The most important reason why I chose Venari Crystalsmith in this battle was that she has the Tank Heal Ability, thanks to her Tank Heal Ability it becomes much more difficult to destroy the monster in the first position int the team. I put Venari Crystalsmith in fifth position in the team.
- Tank Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
Prismologist is a very powerful monster that can attack the target with Ranged Attacks. Also Prismologist has 3 Ranged Attack, 2 Speed, 2 armor, 5 Health, and the Blast Ability at level 2. The reason why I chose Primatologist in this battle is that she both attacks very powerful and has Blast Ability. Prismologist's attacks can be really brutal and devastating, I thought I could destroy enemy targets with her in this battle, so I put her in the last position.
- Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.
Round 1
To be honest, the opposing player's summoner selection and strategy was pretty good, especially Adelade Brightwing with the Repair Ability could mess up my strategy. But luckily, my team had Pelacor Conjurer with Magic Reflect Ability and Dax Paragon with Amplify Ability. Thanks to them, the opposing player's strategy could be disrupted.
In the first round the opponent's strategy was working better so my team took more damage but thanks to my monster with Tank Heal and Heal Ability this would be compensated in the second round.
Round 2
In the second round my strategy started working much better and the back damage to Adelade Brightwing was pretty impressive. The opposing team was helpless in the face of my team's effective attacks.
Also, Prismologist's brutal attacks were admirable, destroying 2 monsters in one attack.
Round 3
In the third round, while my team was hitting targets with powerful attacks, the opposing team was weakened due to the destruction of monsters in the opposing team.
Round 4
In the fourth round, my team managed to destroy 2 more monsters from the opposing team, including Adelade Brightwing, which gave my team an advantage in battle.
Round 5
In the fifth round, only 2 monsters remained in the opposing team and all the monsters in my team were still alive and now my team was about to declare their victory, they destroyed one more monster in this round.
Round 6
In the sixth round, there was only one monster left on the opposing team and it wouldn't attack in the first position and my team easily destroyed it as well.
The battle lasted 6 rounds and when the battle was over, all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, while in my team, all the monsters were still alive. Frankly, my strategy worked pretty well in this battle, and all the monsters on my team performed great in battle. Also, Dax Paragon's Amplify Ability was very useful to my team in this battle. Also, PRISMOLOGIST's brutal and powerful attacks were admirable. My team was able to easily win this battle because my strategy worked well.

Great tactic, kind of lacking by the end of it, a few changes and you would never win with it, maybe meta will change overtime but for now it works, hope it keeps giving you wins, sooner rather than later.
