My friend's mother has breast cancer and is undergoing radiation therapy. She said that radiotherapy was a very difficult treatment and caused severe fatigue at first, and that her mother started music therapy on the advice of her doctor. She said that music therapy worked very well for her mother and reduced her fatigue.

It is already known that music is motivating and healing, many studies show this, but this is the first time I have heard that it reduces fatigue caused by radiotherapy, so I did some research on it on the internet. I read some studies on this and there were studies that said it actually worked.

A study published April 10, 2018 states that music therapy reduces radiotherapy-iduced fatigue in patients with breast or gynecological cancer. The study, conducted with 164 women participants, states that individual music therapy sessions can be effective in reducing cancer-related fatigue and depression symptoms, as well as improving the quality of life of women with breast or gynecological cancer undergoing radiotherapy. I already know that music is good for stress, fatigue and even headaches because it works for me, but this is the first time I've heard that it reduces fatigue caused by radiotherapy and it is pleasing to see that it works.
