The 15th of every month is celebrated as Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and today is the first Leo Power Up Day of 2014 and it's time to Power Up #LEO. I have been participating the LPUD event since the very beginning, so I have never missed it until now. I can power up LEO whenever I want, but I can say that participating in the LPUD event is exciting. I can also say that the LPUD event helped me a lot in increasing my Leo Power. We also have a chance to win one of the generous prizes by joining LPUD. The prizes are really big, I hope you win one of the prizes. You can check out more information here.

Powering Up LEO



Today I powered up 303 LEO and reached 22,605 Leo Power. Participating in the LPUD event and increasing my Leo Power makes me happy, so the 15th of every month has become a special day for me. Frankly, I am quite optimistic about LEO, so I will continue to increase my Leo Power in the coming months.

I recently did my first power up, the truth is that although it is very simple I was explained how to do it almost step by step. I didn't know that within Leo you could also do something similar, I understand and share the emotion you are talking about because you not only see your account grow, but also increase your commitment to the project.

I've been participating in various HPUD so far, but I so far haven't tried to be a part of LPUD. While I do appreciate LEO, it's not the most interesting token to me, as I can't do much with it, other than power it up and vote, which is cool, but I really love the multi-use tokens that are tipping tokens, income tokens, and regular power-up-and-vote tokens. Big congratulations on participating in every single LPUD since you arrived here, and on your LEO powered up this round! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Dear friends, I'll be sincere. Under better conditions, I would participate to the LPUD. Unfortunately, various reasons hinder me. First of all, the new government of my country turned cryptocurrencies enemy, especially against altcoins, tokens and NFTs. It has been approved a cumbersome law that erased even the least tax exemption and the least tax report to our R.S.I. (reports here are very worse than taxes, as we must calculate every value of each token (including, whenever possible, each !PGM, !PIZZA, !BEER) into our national currency first than swapping and then, having just swapped. If there were the least earning, even of 0,005 cents, we must report to R.S.I. In short, as this topic is too technical, I must swap to get a loss (I don't mind for a cents loss) to avoid a so cumbersome bureaucracy. This happens when we store cryptocurrencies out of our national CEXs. Imagine, our government equates even a Ledger as a foreign CEX, even Trust Wallet and similar apps😡. In my country, there is a cultural point: an ancestral dislike from governmental left party towards foreign finances. Earnings coming from abroad are considered unpopular by governmental bodies, that frown even upon FIAT earnings different from our national currency. I'll not become astonished if a day this government will approve a new law declaring cryptocurrencies illegal if negotiated out of the national borders. So I'm compelled to store as less crypto as possible and I'm in power down in a row. The admin of the Brazilian Hive told me he expects the bailiff from the court knocking his door because he works on Hive.
Second reason: despite what just explained, unfortunately online tasks became my main job and I need to purchase very expensive drugs on a monthly basis cause chronic conditions. In short: the main source of income in my household are these platforms. So I can't stop power down. I'm sorry if I'm hurting other user's sensibility, but I can't act differently from power down😢. I wish the best, in any way, to anyone eager to participate to the LPUD.
