Rise of the Commons Ruleset | Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge | Splinterlands
Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life. Welcome to my Battle Mage Secrets post. In this post, I will talk about the Rise of the Commons Ruleset.
In battles with the Rise of the Commons Ruleset, only Common and Rare Monsters may be used, but Summoners are unaffected by this rule. Rise of the Commons ruleset is one of my favorites because my deck is richer in Common and Rare cards and if your deck is rich in Common and Rare cards you might enjoy this ruleset. I would like to say that the abilities I use the most in battles with the Rise of the Commons ruleset are Sneak and Opportunity. Let's examine this ruleset in a battle.
- Rise of the Commons: Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles.
According to the ruleset of the battle, only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in this battle. And before determining my strategy, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opponent player, had powerful cards but it was hard for me to guess the opponent player' strategy, so I will definitely include the Taunt Ability in my lineup. I will also add the Protect Ability to my lineup to give all Monsters on my team an extra 2 armor. And I believe that Monsters with Double Strike and Sneak abilities can be very effective in this battle and I will determine my strategy accordingly.
The continuation of the strategy and my team's lineup is as follows;
I choose Helios Matriarch as the Summoner because I want to use a Gladiator card and Earth Unit as well as Dragon Unit in this battle. Additionally, thanks to the Helios Matriarch, all monsters in my team will have +1 speed.
In the first position, I put Xenith Monk with Heal Ability. Xenith Monk has both Heal Ability and 7 health so I put it in the first position. Until the Monster with Taunt Ability is destroyed, I think Xenith Monk can survive.
In the second position, I put Arkemis the Bear with Protect Ability and Halving Ability. Thanks to the Protect Ability, all monsters in my team will have +2 extra armor. And since it has 11 health, I put it in the second position and if Xenith Monk is destroyed, it will take the first position.
In the third position, I put Katrelba Gobson, who has Bloodlust, Sneak, Double Strike and Snare abilities at level 5. Katrelba Gobson is a very powerful Gladiator, especially when it starts destroying its targets, it becomes much more dangerous for the enemies. I added it to my team because I believed it could be very effective in this battle and help me win.
In the fourth position I put Goblin Psychic, who has Tank Heal and Affliction abilities at level 5. I can say that I added it to my team because I believe that both of its abilities can be useful to my team in this battle.
In the fifth position, I put Dhampir Infiltrator, who has Sneak, Double Strike and Cripple abilities at level 5. I think Katrelba Gobson and Dhampir Infiltrator would be very effective in this battle, and my main goal is to destroy the monsters on the opposing team starting from the last positions.
In the last position, I put Mycelic Slipspawn with Taunt and Forcefield Abilities at level 4. The main reason I added Mycelic Slipspawn to my team is because it has the Taunt Ability and the enemies will attack it first to destroy her, which will stall the enemies for a while. In particular, I don't want Katrelba Gobson and Dhampir Infiltrator to be the first targets of enemies.
You can watch the entire battle from the video or from the Battle Link
In fact, the opposing team was also quite powerful and the player's strategy was good, but I think the fact that most of the monsters on the opposing team do not have armor will be a big disadvantage for them in this battle.
Round 1
In the first round, Katrelba Gobson destroyed both the Goblin Tower and Katrelba Gobson on the opposing team, meaning it also got +1 to all of its stats twice. While my strategy was working quite well in the first round, the opposing player's strategy took a big hit.
Round 2
In the second round, Gobson Bomber attacked brutally, dealing 9 damage to Mycelic Slipspawn with a single hit and destroying it. Additionally, Katrelba Gobson also destroyed the opposing team's Goblin Psychic.
Round 3
In the third round, Katrelba Gobson also destroyed Bramble Pixie, which also means it got +1 to all of its stats for the fourth time. Katrelba Gobson really does a great job in this battle, as I expected.
Round 4
In the fourth round, Katrelba Gobson also destroyed Mycelic Infantry and Gobson Bomber, showing an amazing performance in this battle and dealing the final hit to all enemies in this battle.
The battle lasted 4 rounds and at the end of the battle, all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed while 5 monsters on my team were still alive. Additionally, all of Katrelba Gobson's stats at the end of the battle were remarkable, showing how effective Katrelba Gobson was in this battle. Honestly, all the monsters on my team were effective, but Katrelba Gobson was much more effective, which is exactly why I attach great importance to adding it to my team in such battles. Also, most of the monsters on the opposing team had no armor, which made Katrelba Gobson more effective in the battle, which is why I recommend armoring the monsters on your team in such battles.
