SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR
Let's talk about LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR this week for the Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge. Legionnaire Alvar is a Legendary Monster that attacks the target with Melee Attacks. Since Legionnaire Alvar is in the Neutral unit, I have the chance to use it in many of my strategies. Also, Legionnaire Alvar has Void Armor Ability and has 8 armor and 6 health at level 1 so it can adapt to most of my strategies. Legionnaire Alvar is a monster that can be effective in battles and I would like to point out that he can be much more effective when used with a good strategy.
Since Legionnaire Alvar has the Void Armor Ability, all monsters, including Magic Attack Monsters, have to destroy his armor first, so I don't hesitate to add him to the team when I have the opportunity. I also love that Legionnaire Alvar was brought back to life after he was destroyed on the battlefield. That's why I take care to add a Monster with the Resurrect Ability to my team after adding Legionnaire Alvar to my team. When a friendly Monster dies, a monster with the Resurrect Ability bring back to life it with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle. Although Legionnaire Alvar is brought back to life with 1 health, it is a great advantage to have 8 armor. Also, I usually put Legionnaire Alvar in the first position in my team, I think that's where he is most effective. But I can put him in different positions according to my different strategies.
The Chaos Legionnaires are ruthless warriors and the Chaos Legion's elite fighting force. Alvar Veralyn was conscripted into their ranks at a young age after his family was slain and his world conquered by the Chaos Legion. The harsh conditioning that all conscripts receive nearly broke the child, but in the end, his old, easy way of life was subsumed by the desire for battle and conquest. Alvar dedicated himself to his training, intent on reshaping his mind and his body until he had no equal on the battlefield. Eventually, he rose to the rank of General and now stands as leader of the Chaos Legionnaires.
Alvar is a most imposing sight on the battlefield. His armor is imbued to withstand the strongest of magical attacks, and even the mightiest of foes is no match for his massive, two-handed sword, which some say was forged in the Realm of Nightmare. He lives for battle, wading through his enemies and striking them down as he seeks out the strongest among them to engage in single combat. He enjoys nothing more than watching the life fade from his opponent's eyes. His conquests are legendary even among the Legionnaires, and he earned the title of Godkiller after the Battle of Dargnilat, during which he single-handedly defeated one of the Old Gods.
LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR has the Void Armor Ability at level 1, the Giant Killer Ability at level 2, the Demoralize Ability at level 3 and the Deathblow Ability at level 4.
- Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health.
- Giant Killer Ability : Does double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana.
- Demoralize Ability : Reduces the Melee attack of all enemy Monsters.
- Deathblow Ability : This Monster does 2x damage if their target is the only Monster left on the enemy team.
These abilities are really powerful abilities and abilities that can be very effective in battles and useful to the team. My LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR Card is at level 1 and I would love to upgrade it to level 4 in the future.
Legionnaire Alvar is a Legendary Monster in the Neutral Unit that belongs to the Chaos Legion edition. Legionnaire Alvar costs 9 mana and has 2 Melee Attack, 2 speed, 8 armor and 8 health at level 1. Also, when upgrated to level 2, his Melee Attack is increased by +1, at Level 3 his armor is increased by +1, and at Level 4 his health is increased by +1. Legionnaire Alvar's only downside is that his speed is only 2 and he can't quite evade enemy attacks, making it easy for enemies to destroy him. So I need to use Legionnaire Alvar with good strategy.
LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR, An LEGENDARY NFT Card, is currently starting at $4.49 on the market. The Gold LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR NFT card is currently starting at $36.99 on the market. Mana Cap 52
- Close Range rule means Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
- Healed Out rule means all healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.
Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, it was very difficult for me to predict what kind of strategy the opposing player would team up with in this battle. But I thought the opposing player might prefer Magic Attack Monsters or Ranged Attack Monsters. I decided that it would be more advantageous to choose Magic Attack Monsters in this battle.
Since I wasn't sure what kind of strategy the opposing player would team up with, I decided that it would be better to have a strong defense against enemy attacks both in the first position and in the last position in this battle. And I put Legionnaire Alvar in first position on my team and Magic Attack Monsters on the back line of the team. I also knew I had to add RIVER HELLONDALE with the Resurrect Ability to my team. I determined my strategy accordingly and formed my team as follows.
I chose Alric Stormbringer as the summoner as I would prefer Magic Attack Monsters in this battle. Alric Stormbringer gives +1 Magic Attack to all friendly Magic Attack Monsters. Thanks to Alric Stormbringer, Magic Attack Monsters in my team would be able to attack enemies more powerfully.
I put Legionnaire Alvar in first position in my team. I think it's the first position where he's most effective. Legionnaire Alvar attacks the target with 2 melee attacks, and all monsters on the opposing team had to first destroy his armor and then his health to destroy him. Legionnaire Alvar has the Void Armor Ability, 8 armor and 6 health, so enemies would have to fight hard to destroy him.
Djinn Oshannus is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has 2 Magic Attack, 5 speed, 11 health, the Void Ability and the Phase Ability at level 2. I thought that after the Legionnaire Alvar was destroyed, Djinn Oshannus would make a stronger defense against the opposing team's attacks in the first position. That's why I put the Djinn Oshannus in second position in this battle.
- Void Ability : Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
- Phase Ability : Magic attacks can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks).
Nerissa Tridawn is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has 3 Magic Attack, 2 speed, 9 health at level 1. Since Nerissa Tridawn can attack the target powerfully even if she has no abilities, I added her to the team and put her in the third position because she has 9 health.
I thought all the monsters on my team would need armor in this battle, so I added Venari Wavesmith with the Protect Ability to my team and put Venari Wavesmith in fourth position. By the way, since her health is 4, I put her in the fourth position. Thanks to Venari Wavesmith, all monsters in my team would have +2 armor. Also, Venari Wavesmith attacks the target with 1 Magic Attack.
- Protect Ability : All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.
River Hellondale is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has 2 Magic Attack, 2 speed, 1 armor, 4 health, the Resurrect Ability at level 1. The most important reason I added River Hellondale to my team in this battle was because he has the Resurrect Ability. When a monster on my team was destroyed, it could be brought back to life thanks to River Hellondale. Especially bringing a monster like Legionnaire Alvar back to life would be a big disadvantage for the opposing team, but it would be a big advantage for my team. River Hellondale has 4 health and shouldn't be the first to be destroyed because then his Resurrect Ability would be useless. That's why I put him in the fifth position.
- Resurrect Ability : When a friendly Monster dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.
Runemancer Kye is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has 2 Magic Attack, 3 speed, 5 armor, 8 health, the Flying Ability and the Life Leech Ability at level 1. Although I can't predict the opponent's strategy, I put her in the last position taking into account the possibility of Sneak Monsters on the opposing team in this battle.
- Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
- Life Leech Ability : Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy Monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt.
Seeing the monsters on the opposing team, I'm glad I chose Magic Attack Monsters in this battle, otherwise it would be difficult to win this battle.
In the first round, the opposing team was battling to destroy Legionnaire Alvar, while my team was battling to destroy Wave Brood with the Taunt Ability. Although my team managed to destroy Wave Brood, it was brought back to life with River Hellondale. But the opposing team was attacking Legionnaire Alvar but they failed to destroy him in the first round.
My team kept attacking the opposing team powerfully, and the opposing team was so helpless against Magic Attack Monsters. Although the opposing team managed to destroy Legionnaire Alvar, the fact that he was brought back to life by River Hellondale was a complete disappointment for the opposing team.
I admit that Legionnaire Alvar being brought back to life with 1 health and 10 armor is frustrating.
Also, My team managed to destroy 2 monsters from the opposing team in the second round.
While the opposing team started the third round by losing 2 monsters, in my team all monsters were still alive. The opposing team was so helpless against my team's powerful attacks and my strategy was working really well.
It was remarkable that Legionnaire Alvar was still alive in round 4, which was really admirable. The opposing team managed to destroy Legionnaire Alvar in the 4th round, but they no longer had a chance to win.
In the last round, only Nerissa Tridawn remained in the opposing team and my team managed to destroy her and won the battle. When the battle ended, all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed while 5 monsters were still alive in my team.
The battle lasted 5 rounds, my strategy worked really well in this battle. My preference for Legionnaire Alvar and Magic Attack Monsters in this battle gave my team a huge advantage. Thanks to my strategy, my team won a pretty tough battle easily. I hope you enjoyed this battle. I recommend you to watch this great battle and challenge from the video or battle link
Legionnaire Alvar is one of my favorite monsters. I prefer him in most battles because of his Void Armor Ability. He helps me win battles, even the most difficult ones. I also think that as I upgrade the level of this card, it will be more useful to my team. Legionnaire Alvar having the Void Armor Ability, 8 armor and 6 health, and being in the Neutral Unit is a huge advantage in my opinion. So it can adapt to many of my strategies. Also, in battles with Legionnaire Alvar, it would be very useful to add monsters with Tank Heal Ability and Repair Ability to my team. This will make it more difficult to destroy Legionnaire Alvar and I think it will be useful for the team. In this battle, I did not add a Monster with the Tank Heal Ability to the team, as the battle ruleset has the Healed Out rule. Normally, I take care to add a monster with the Tank Heal Ability to my team. But if I had added a monster with the Repair Ability to my team, Legionnaire Alvar would have survived to the end of the battle. Legionnaire Alvar is a monster that can be effective in battles and I would like to say that he is much more effective when used with good strategy.
- Tank Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
- Repair Ability : Restores some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage.
