Power of Flying Dragons. "Share Your Battle" Weekly Challenge! Dragons!
I have always loved the Dragons theme and they are really quite powerful Monsters. Especially the Flying Dragons become much powerful. Flying monsters have a better chance of avoiding Melee and Ranged attacks so I like them more.
Mana Cap 99
Weak Magic rule means Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
Melee Mayhem rule means Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.
Before starting the battle in the video, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player and the opposing player had quite powerful NFT cards. Given the rules of battle and the mana value of the battle, I guessed that the opposing player would prefer the TARS Summoner and Melee and Ranged Attackers. In this battle, I determined my strategy accordingly.
According to the rules of the battle and the mana value, choosing the Dragons in this battle would allow me to be much more advantageous in the battle. One of the most important advantages of the Dragon Summoner is that we have the option to choose an unit besides the Dragons, so I chose the Fire Unit. Powerful Monsters are very effective in battles, but powerful Flying Monsters are much more effective. That's why I chose BRIGHTON BLOOM as the Summoner. This would increase my chances of beating the opposing player.
Summoner and Monsters on My Team
BRIGHTON BLOOM is one of my favorite summoners. Brighton Bloom makes all friendly Monsters receive the Flying ability at the start of the battle. This is truly a great ability. Monsters with the Flying Ability have an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability. The BRIGHTON BLOOM NFT card starts at $6.75 on the market. Considering Brighton Bloom's ability, I'd say the Card price is pretty cheap.
DJINN CHWALA is one of the very powerful Dragons with the Thorns Ability at level 1. Monsters with the Thorns Ability when hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker. I can also say that DJINN CHWALA is more effective in battles when DJINN CHWALA has the Flying Ability. That's why I put DJINN CHWALA in the first position in the team. DJINN CHWALA NFT card price, a Epic NFT card, starts at $0.13 in the market.
Dawn of the Djinn 4 of 4 - Only a short time after the Djinn were released, most of them were already seeing their elemental captivity as a blessing rather than a curse. They had far greater power than before, now that they were working with the force of the Planet at their backs. Pursuit of power was at the core of Belludae beliefs, so most of them would make small sacrifices for greater power.
The Djinn have not all found one another, and it will be difficult for them to do so since many of them reside in different elements. This is why several of the Djinn have submitted themselves as cards in the Moxian games, so they can connect with their lost brethren. Gradually they will come together to Praetoria as part of the last lines of defense, channeling the power of the Planet into an impenetrable wall to hold back the Chaos Legion.
DESERT DRAGON is a very powerful Dragon with Trample Ability at level 1 and attacking targets with 4 Melee Attacks. When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team. I put DESERT DRAGON in second position on the team in this battle. The price of the DESERT DRAGON NFT card, a Legendary NFT card, starts at $3.15 in the market.
When the Venari dug their tunnels and burrows, creating the Realm of Silence, little did they know of the ancient creatures they disturbed hidden beneath the ground. Forgotten, from almost a millennia ago, these dragons were awakened and gripped by an everlasting hunger. Unfortunately for the Venari, they were the first poor souls to run into these feral beasts and were sent fleeing through their tunnels in horror at what they’d uncovered.”
The Desert Dragon is most commonly found east of the Jade Thickett, on the sandy plains of the Ixzoc. Its long neck is banded red and black, with savage horns that sprout from its head and vicious fangs more wicked than scimitars that line its jaws. Quite often assumed as a lumbering, flightless giant with wings that are tattered and torn, many make the mistake that it cannot move quickly and will sometimes stray too close. But any that have seen it hunt the plain grazers will know, not only can the beast move with considerable speed, the terrifying charge will often leave its target rooted to the spot with terror, unable to flee its impending doom. The Desert Dragon is so big that on rare occasions its attack has been mistaken for seismic activity and minor earthquakes.
GRUM FLAMEBLADE is one of the most powerful Monsters with the Bloodlust Ability and the Void Armor Ability at level 1 . The only downside to GRUM FLAMEBLADE is that it's slow, so he usually takes damage from every attack. But once he has the Flying Ability, he can also evade Melee and Ranged Attacks. Indeed, having the flying ability is a huge advantage. In this battle, I put GRUM FLAMEBLADE in third position on the team. The Legendary NFT card, the GRUM FLAMEBLADE NFT card, starts at $6.17 in the market.
Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats (in the Reverse Speed ruleset, -1 to Speed).
Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health.
Grum is known throughout his tribe as the strongest warrior. Born in the Sands of Draykh-Nahka, his hard upbringing made him a survivor. There was no weather too extreme, no drought too long, and no enemy too cunning for Grum. He became well-respected within the region for his battle prowess and defended his tribe countless times against the creatures of the wastes. Tales were sung around the fires of Grum's battle with the Great Wyrm of the Sands, the Earth-Shaking Titan, and Velissa the Sorceress. Grum's tribe, known as the Desert Blood, honored tradition, strength, and courage. He grew to become a legend amongst his people.
FORGOTTEN ONE is one of the most powerful Monsters with the Immunity Ability at level 1 . The only downside to FORGOTTEN ONE is that it's slow, so he usually takes damage from every attack. But once FORGOTTEN ONE has the Flying Ability, he can also evade Melee and Ranged Attacks. With really powerful attacks, he allows his opponents to take serious damage. In this battle, I put FORGOTTEN ONE in fourth position on the team. The Epic NFT card, the FORGOTTEN ONE NFT card, starts at $2.10 in the market.
For an age the towering beast had slumbered in the bowels of the deepest caverns of fire, a weapon forged for a war lost to memory or myth.
Into an invocation drawn from a rotting manuscript the High Magus of the Crypteia poured all his malice and hate. Drawing the razored flint across his palm he sealed the pact, completing the summoning, calling forth the great flaming homunculus, the Forgotten One.
As the great beast crawled from the burning pit, the Magus bade it roam free and armed it with a broad blade twice as tall as any man. It dwells there now, birthing others of its kind and passing on the knowledge of their making, and serves at the pleasure of the Magus as a hand of Chaos.
CARNAGE TITAN is one of the very powerful Dragons that can attack targets twice each round. CARNAGE TITAN has Reach Ability and Double Strike Ability at level 1. CARNAGE TITAN has really effective attacks, allowing his opponents to take serious damage. In this battle, I put the CARNAGE TITAN in fifth position in the team. One of the legendary NFT cards, the CARNAGE TITAN NFT card starts at $10 in the market.
Reach Ability : Melee attack Monsters with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team.
Double Strike Ability : Monster attacks twice each round.
He was called Holicrai the Magnificent and without doubt, he was the finest Gloridax guardian in the history of the land. He was as feared as some of the dragons that lived on Dragon’s Roost. The people of Draykh-Nahka would sing songs about him, and the ancient scholars would say that the sagas told about him didn’t do him justice. When he passed to the other side, they took his armor and displayed it in the Warrior’s Hall, deep within the Centrum. His bones were laid to rest in the Guardian’s Chapel on the far side of the city, a shrine open to the people so they might pay their respects for all he had done.
CHAOS DRAGON is an incredibly powerful Dragon that can attack targets with Magic Attacks. CHAOS DRAGON is a very intelligent Monster with excellent abilities. Especially with its Blast Ability, CHAOS DRAGON allows opponents to take very serious damage. CHAOS DRAGON has the Flying Ability and Scattershot Ability at level 1, and the Blast Ability at level 2. In this battle, I put CHAOS DRAGON in the last position in the team. One of the legendary NFT cards, the CHAOS DRAGONNFT card starts at $6.39 in the market.
Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
Scattershot Ability : This Monster's attacks hit a random enemy target.
Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.
The Chaos Realm has preyed upon many a world, opening rifts in time and space to invade the lands and take from its people. When they attacked Praetoria and the Splinterlands, it was first thought that the minions were compelled through the portal for their fear of the dark shade that lurked beyond the gate, the shadowed image of Uul. Eventually though, when the last of the armies stepped through, there came such a prodigious monster that at first, none could believe it was real. A nightmare dragged forth into reality.
I teamed up with the most powerful monsters according to the rules of war and mana value. I was guessing that the opposing player would form a team with a similar strategy. In this battle, whichever team's monsters were stronger would win. But thanks to the Brighton Bloom Summoner, I made all the Monsters in my team have the Flying Ability. I knew this ability would give my team an edge. Because the more the opposing team missed, the more it would turn into a big advantage.
Indeed my strategy worked pretty well in this battle and we managed to beat a pretty powerful team with good strategy. If all the Monsters on my team didn't have the Flying Ability, we would be much less likely to win this battle. In the video, you can watch how effective the Flying Monsters are in battles. Also all the Monsters in my team did a really great battle in this battle, you can watch their amazing show and great battles in the video.
What are your thoughts on the battle in video and Flying Dragons? I would be glad if you write your thoughts in the comments.
