Hello everyone. I want to share our adventure of making homemade rice flour with you today. My baby and I decided to try this delicious and healthy alternative.

When we buy ready made packages from the store we can feel a bit uneasy about not knowing what's inside not to mention that they can be a bit pricey. But by making it ourselves at home we can save money and have complete control over the ingredients. And we can make it with just pure rice without any additional additives.

We carefully select and thoroughly wash the rice. Then we soak it in water for a while to soften it and make it easier to work with. Afterwrds we spread it on a clean towel and let it dry for a bit. I usually let it dry for about 2 hours until the rice is completely dry. This is where soaking the rice in water becomes important. When I try to crush rice that hasn't been soaked my efforts are in vain. But when I take a piece of soaked rice and press it a little it crumbles completely. Soaking the rice makes the transformation into flour much easier.

Our next step is to take the dried rice and blend it until it turns into a fine powder. It only takes about a minute for the rice to become flour and it's ready to use. You won't believe how easy it is.

Here's a sweet detail to add, we mash a banana and add it to the cooked rice flour. In no time we have a delicious homemade rice flour baby porridge. It's not only healthy and economical but also incredibly tasty. The smile on your baby's face will be priceless.Give it a try and share it with your loved ones. I'm sure they'll love it too.
