Pokemon trapped in a pokeball called Nintendo

Recently came out two new versions of the long-lived saga of Pokémon, which since 1996 being this more valid than ever, this saga of Pokémon has broken generational barriers, ages religions among others being this a video game loved by many, is supported by an Anime that is still published until today, to date that this post is published has an amount of 1215 episodes published.

During the release of Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red, limited by the JRPG genre due to the limited capabilities of the console, they found a way to make this game work perfectly, being a game that rewarded exploration, above all things, making the adventure extremely interesting.

As the generations went by, some improvements were added to the formula, like being able to fish or dive, making the experience of finding Pokémon more pleasant, of course there are some things that I still don't like, like the fact that in order to catch them all you need to have all the games of previous generations, or participate in events that only happened in Japan and the United States, not to mention the evolutions by transfer, which seem totally unnecessary to me.

Pokémon is a game that has been able to adapt to a formula with which he felt more comfortable, renewing some aspects, but without losing its essence JRPG until the arrival of Pokémon ARCEUS legends where it was the first attempt to fulfill the dream of many a living Pokémon world where you can see the Pokémon in their natural sighting, of course then we collided with the reality that the Pokémon are standing there without doing more than an animation, and that the world looks a little dead.

Besides that, the formula is very poorly polished, especially at the level of history where they fail to connect with the viewer, this may be closely related to the public to which this saga is addressed that does not allow more mature stories within the saga.

On the other hand, it is a great achievement to move on to the 3D Pokémon designs that are in different Biomes waiting to be captured, especially if you take into account that they are a huge amount of Pokémon so the database is huge.

Another point that does not play in favors of the saga is the platform where it is developed for a real evolution to occur with respect to previous generations, we must see Nintendo releasing a range of consoles that resembles more to the current generations of consoles at the level of graphic power or simply expand to other platforms.

Pokémon is an extremely important game in the present day and the history of video games, as I have said on previous occasions it was my first video game, but it is undoubtedly stagnating with respect to its own evolution.

While Pokemon is a great starter for Video games, the main demographic for the games and anime are a younger age group. Yes, a person of any age can play the series but the developers are not going to make these games any more difficult. It's a bit rough to be an older fan wanting to play a challenging pokemon game only to be met with the same design with each iteration.

The reason for different pokemon in each version and trading to evolve is to support community growth and help players be social with each other to link trade and to eventually battle each others pokemon.

I do agree with you that Game Freak and Nintendo have dropped the ball on their 3D pokemon entries. The Monster Hunter series is a great example of seeing virtual animals(or Monsters) living in their ecosystem/locale and maybe the developers should've taken some inspiration from that series to help visualize the pokemon for Arceus.

Your post was interesting to read and I hope to see more! Thank you for sharing.
