LPUD-My Participation In Leo Power Up Day

I didn’t think I will make it in time for the Leo power-up day. I was not that busy but I think the day went by so fast.

If you followed up on my Leo goals post, I promised myself that I wanted to get up to 2.5k Leo staked before the end of 2023. Before today I had about 564 staked Leo so this meant to get to 2.5k by the end of this year I have to stake like 167 person month to get there.

Well, I went against myself once again. I promised I wouldn’t get too excited and end up staking more than I wanted. But can you blame me, when the curation rewards are so nice to see. Leo is not expensive now so for now it’s pretty super to get a huge chunk with less than 100 hive.

I had about 187 Leo before today and from curation and post rewards from Leo I have about 200. But then I had about 10 hbd sitting and wasting in my hive wallet so instead of using it to grow my hp I decided to use it for Leo stake.

I feel good but not too good. I would have loved to get to 1k staked today but it ain’t possible cause I run out of funds for that, unfortunately. But with this amount am sure by the end of January I will have up to 1k.

Getting to 2.5k before the end of this year will be massive for me. I want to beat the goal that I set cause I liked getting lovely curation rewards. 😂

You have almost close to half of your LP target for the year and we’re still in January! Lol I think you’ll have hit 2.5k by the middle of the year even with challenges along the line, if you keep going at this pace.

Yep am looking to hit it very fast and concentrate more on Hp building. For some reason I seem to be more into Leo stake for now than hp.

That’s an awesome power up man! You can’t get better than that for many that’s for sure! I know you’ll crush the Leo power goal for the year but try to balance it out a bit and not neglect hive power as well! Leo is good but we have to remember the base that is hive!

Haha, yep I tried to control myself. But I ended up disobeying myself and staked more than I intended to. I always wanted to reach 1k as soon as possible so I had to,lol.

Man thank you very much for the extra stake. I saw 1k in hive engine and kept on wondering where it came from. This was the target I wanted to reach before January end and you came like Santa and fulfilled my wish.

Maybe from now on I will concentrate more on hp.

I would mix the two! Do a bit of Leo and a bit of hive so that you can get the best of both worlds. Perhaps see if you can hit the 150 leo a month to qualify for LPUD then the rest goes to HP type of thing.

You’re welcome! It was nice to be able to bump you up over the hill to where you wanted to be! I only ask that one day, not now of course, you do something similar for another user, preferably one that’s starting out, to help motivate them to keep at it!

Ok ok, I will surely do that. The aim was to stake around 167 per month but then I ended up staking more. Am pretty sure I won’t do that again though.
