Hi splinter fam,

Welcome to my blog. The conclave arcana presale has started and as you know it splinter nerds are already buying a whole lot of packs.

Yesterday was the day the presale started and as at evening time I saw a stats that said more than 14% of the total packs gave already been sold. I’ve spoken about conclave arcana packs in few times on blog and how I play to navigate this new phase of the game.

As much as I am super low on funds to participate in the presale I still have to find a way round this because I play solely modern. This also means that with the introduction of conclave arcana, chaos legion will also role out of modern league into wild league only.

Enough about conclave arcana. As you know it, this days i play a lot of spl as I make sure I deplete my energy levels every single day. I know that there was a time where I said I’ll like to play less and less but after seeing the price of sps go nuts i had to accumulate more and more and see where we can go from there.

A few minutes ago I was playing and I had a very interesting battle which I’ll like to talk about. When I say a battle was interesting it also means that I had a personal satisfaction watching the game unfold.

As you might know, I spend most of my season in diamond league this days. It’s been long since I’ve been relegated to gold and I must say starting from diamond league every start of the season is pretty cool.

We had the super sneak ability ruleset, usage of gladiator cards and target practice ruleset as well. With the super sneak we know it means that melee cards will target your last card. With the target practice it means all your non melee cards will also target your non melee cards first.

With this in mind, I went in for the immortalis summoner. One of mu favorite. With its shatter ability it’s quite easy for me to go for it cause of the super sneak ability as well.

So I then went in for regal peryton as mu first card; which will come as a surprise to some. Why will I use a magic card as my first card? Well, first of all it has the flying ability which makes it easier to be missed. It also has 7 speed which enhances its dodge ability.

Next in line was quora. A card which is still feared till this date. Any level of quora is a beast and I am proud to have its level 2. Anyone who has played spl for a long time will tell you how hard it is to get quora to max level. With its dual attack thr super sneak ruleset seemed like a perfect fit for it.

Then I went in for venari. With its low speed and low attack i definitely didn’t select it for attacking reasons. I also selected it for its martyr quality which will help my quora and grund have better prowess.

After grund, I selected mycelic slipspawn. This card has made it to my top most used cards. Its forcefield makes it a must pick when you have a large mana game. You will know that your opponent will bring huge cards with huge attack mana which makes it easier for your line up.

Lastly I went in for arkemis the bear. This card is a perfect card for this type of occasion and didn’t pass up the chance to use it.

The game started on a pretty regular note but into round one i made a kill. The thing is my opponent had a taunt card so all my attacks were directed at it till I killed it.

Round 2 didn’t go well for mu taunt card as well as it was killed in round 2. Having the taunt ability gives thr other cards a chance to attack and stay longer but then the taunt card is killed easily.

After that kill I went on a rampage and did things. Having arkemis bear was a blessing. Its forcefield did wonders and I am proud of choosing it. It made a huge difference in this battle.
