Twitter Or Hive; Where Do You Spend More Time.

Ever since you started using hive how has your interaction on other social media platforms been? I am one of the people who used to spend a lot of my time on Twitter, WhatsApp and sometimes Instagram virtually doing nothing.

Well, hours of scrolling can get you addicted to something you never wanted to the addicted to in the first place. How have you been able to cope since you started taking huge seriously?

Let me tell you a story of how things have been with me.

I won’t lie, am one of the people who love having a phone or a computer close by. I don’t mind being on the internet learning new things and in some cases doing nothing. Why not, sometimes we are tired and to help out our minds to rest social media is the way. Now, when the covid break came along it forced a lot of us to learn new things which we didn’t even know.

Before covid, I was not a Twitter and YouTube guy but immediately covid came along I started getting used to habits which were not familiar to me. The first few weeks of the covid break were quite exciting. We had never experienced such a long break from school in the middle of the sem so it was pretty cool to have such a break.

Slowly, we began to get bored. We had nothing to do with our lives and as such new habits were learnt. My time on Twitter started to increase and as such, it increased the time I spent on YouTube coincidentally increase too. What happened was that there was this influencer I liked a lot and as such, I was watching his videos on YouTube.

Will you rather use Twitter and Instagram or Hive?

What are the benefits of using Twitter or Instagram? Instead of spending countless hours there scrolling on and on which never gets to an end why don’t you use that time on hive. Hive is a lovely place to make connections. Connections which may have you set for life instead of going through Twitter always.

I can’t stop using other social media platforms permanently but the time I spend there is limited and short as compared to previously. I use my data wisely and I will entreat others to do the same

In the beginning it’s very tough especially for those of us who seem to have fallen so much in love with twitter but the moment your post pays out after 7 days you realise that it’s actually worth your time being on hive, engaging on hive and trying to build your account. Obviously, who doesn’t want their work to be appreciated? Hive does that by paying you through hive for being here and being active.
