Attending a Birthday Party with the Whole Family: A Saturday Full of Fun, Chit-chatting, Singing, and Celebrating!

On Friday, Mommy F informed me that we would attend a birthday party. Then later that day, Mommy D talk to me too saying she's planning to buy three boxes of pizza and bring them there. And she told me that I should order it so that they will prepare it beforehand, and when we get there, we will just drop by and pick those pizzas. To be honest, I don't want to attend because I'm feeling something for myself at that time. I feel sick, and my headache is getting worse. Mommy D then told me to take these particular medications, and the pain would be gone in an instant.

So of course I take it, if I will feel better, then why not? And, I just don't want to attend because I feel sick, but deep inside me, I want to attend too, for the food, lol. Who doesn't want free food anyway? But the medicine took time to take effect. But either way, I feel better, and so I decided to come. My tummy is clapping in joy, lol.

So the day arrived, Saturday, and we arrived at Mommy D's house because we needed to stay there for an hour. The event will start at 3 p.m., so we will take our time talking and just walking around Mommy D's house. And, yes, we were able to force, I mean, convinced haha - my mama to come with us that day. She declined at first, saying that she doesn't know anyone in the party, but we told her that so did we, especially me. I only know the birthday celebrant because she's Mommy D's niece. And she's the one who invited my oldies to come attend.

Anyway, upon entering the house of Mommy D in Bulbugan, I noticed these fluffy putos and pancakes on the table. They all look delicious, and I badly want to get one and eat it. But of course I have to wait for the invitation first before I munch it, lol. I'll look like I have no manners if I just start devouring them, lol. And yes, Aunt Velyn made this, and she also planned to bring it with us. But before that, I ate a bunch of it first, once Aunt Velyn finally gave me a piece of it. And I love them! Uwu.

After eating, I decided to go visit Aunt Velyn's backyard with these doggos and my mama. Look at them barking at us nonstop, we have to remove our cap first before they stop barking. Maybe in their heads, we look like criminals with a cap on our heads, lol.

And here's the view in Aunt Velyn's yard. Some plants and flowers with which I am not familiar But they are so pretty. Mommy D used to bring some of these flowers home, then she'd put them in a vase and put them as decorations in her mini store. And that's my mama with her cool outfit, lol. She looks like she is modeling these flowers in the background. I actually love these shots.

And here is a close-up shot of those flowers in the background. They look pretty cool, no? Even their color is pretty. This is enough to lighten up your mood if you ever decide to put it on display in the house, outside or inside. I feel like I did well capturing these beauties, what do you think? Hehe. As I hear the dog bark at me, I am still focused on capturing them, trying to find a good angle. Mama, on the other hand, is busy too, doing other things somewhere.

When Mama saw me, she told me about the papaya fruit that was already ripe in the tree. She told Aunt Velyn about it, so we just went back there to harvest it. Anything can be done if you are tall, look at her, lol. But actually, she used a chair to reach that papaya, haha. And I am the one holding that chair for it not to fall, you know, some accident might happen.

So back to the main event, which is the birthday party. The venue is actually just walking distance from where we are, so we opt to just walk to get there. We are also accompanied by other people with whom I am not familiar. But I can just give them a smile, I don't know how to start a conversation, you see, lol. I am really glad that it's not that hot that day, it's just okay for this small walk.

And because we are walking outside, I can't help but also notice those pretty little things outside, like these flowers here and those trees. They are great for my eyes! I am walking behind them as I was busy capturing those, lol. It's not like they mind, though.

So here's the venue, there are still a few people inside. It is really just a small gathering, but even if it is small, there's still karaoke that you will always see on any occasion in the Philippines. Singing is just another way to celebrate it or to have a good time while eating or drinking.

It's eating time already, so we just help ourselves and get a lot of food, lol. I was really hungry at that time, so I felt like I could eat all of this. But look at Mama's servings of foods, lol. It's a lot compared to mine, but she was able to finish it all. While I couldn't, because my mommy F is giving me her own food because she can't eat it all. I mean, she only got one dish, and she couldn't finish it. But I understand because she's also limiting her meat intake here.

After devouring all the food, we ate these lanzones. It is a sweet kind of lanzone, and we ate a lot of it. Although I already had a Buko Salad as a dessert, I can't resist this one as I am seeing my oldies eating their lanzones with so much gusto. They are also saying how sweet it is, so that's why, hehe.

It didn't end just with eating, because the oldies were also having a chitchat with the celebrants. They are talking nonstop, and the celebrant is just very attentive to them, which I find really sweet. She also leaves from time to time to talk to those people who come to celebrate her birthday with her, but after the greetings and a little chat, she will go back again with the oldies, and that goes on and on until the clock hits 4:50 and it's time to go home already.

5 p.m., when we finally get on a vehicle bound to Bansud. It's already late, so we just want to go home already. I feel so exhausted, maybe because I ate a lot. That time, I just want to lay on the bed and sleep.
