[Black & White Photography] Unused Photo: It's the Same, But It Is Not

In my journey in blogging, photography is one of the things I never thought I would like. And even if I don't have the talent of "it," I feel like doing it over and over again gives me the eye of a real pro (but of course I'm far from being a pro, eherm), and in my eyes, I feel like day by day, I'm getting better at it (is it really just a feeling? Ehermmmmm! Lol).

Maybe it's because, in my head, I want my article to be more presentable to the eye of those who will read it. I want to put more effort into documenting everything through photography or by giving my all when capturing a moment, a subject, or just everything. It makes me feel overjoyed when I know that the images I share here are being appreciated by a lot of people. And that is why I want to make it more tidy-looking by making an effort.

If you are one of my readers, you will notice that I don't use stock images anymore or create banners as my lead images, except on HPUD or when I create collages. Because I want to make an effort now to make my article so that just by seeing my lead image, you will already feel the strong urge to open my article because you found my lead image maybe interesting or a good one.

But to do this, I really made a lot of retakes in capturing photos, and when I'm not satisfied, I will delete them and find a more suitable subject for my topic. But deleting sometimes is a hassle, and because of that, I am making a lot more copies on my phone than necessary, and they keep piling up in my storage. But by doing this, I will have a lot of choices for choosing the right lead image for my article, so it's okay.

Deleting them without sharing them would be a waste, so I'll share that here and submit it as my entry for the ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST. These are all just random, but I hope you like them.

Let's start with this. I took this one last month, I think, and I asked my mama to be my model for me. I just told her that she didn't need to show her face because the main feature was that old camera. Fortunately, she did it for me. Well, my oldies are very supportive of me when it comes to this thing. I am really glad that they do understand me, hehe.

_storage_emulated_0_Android_data_pixelab.black.camera_files_DCIM_NeroCamera_nero1696577384130.jpg

I took this one together with the first photo. As I've said, I want to use my own image rather than a stock image. There's nothing wrong with using a stock image, but I just find it challenging when I have to choose the right photo for my topic. Do you feel the same way? I didn't use this image, though, as I find the other photos much better than this.

_storage_emulated_0_Android_data_pixelab.black.camera_files_DCIM_NeroCamera_nero1696576719603.jpg

And this one, it's another photo that I couldn't share before. It was a photo on the other side of the building, which mirrored the wide paddy field at the back. It's amazing how the black-and-white filter can affect one photo, no? It has a new character or something.

_storage_emulated_0_Android_data_pixelab.black.camera_files_DCIM_NeroCamera_nero1696576953963.jpg

Here's another one, in the same building but in a different direction. It is the path to get to the back. I really like this building because the whole building has that mirror thing. I can see my face whenever I want, lol. I'm not sure how much the government spends on this, but I'm sure it's huge. This is where the senior citizen visits to get their monthly pension. I saw what was inside before, and it has air conditioning, for which I'm thankful. Because the oldies will be more comfortable in there, no matter how long the queue is while waiting for their money.

So this is also at the back. I move close to this water passageway at the back. And look at those trees in the surrounding area. Everything will really look beautiful if there's a tree.

And here's the last one, featuring our Ikay. I made an article before featuring her. I couldn't use all her photos, as usual, as I only chose a few. And look at Burnok at the back, having his selfie too with Ikay, lol. He looks cute, just like Ikay, ehe. But Ikay here looks more like a snob, lol. I don't know; I feel like she wants me to take her photo, and I take this as a go-ahead signal for me to take more of it. She's like, "WHATEVAHHHH!"

Here's a bonus photo ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.

I love taking photos and checking out other people's photos as well. The dog peeking behind the pretty cat looks so cute. Your Canon camera reminded me of my old Olympus camera. I enjoy using digital cameras, but I also have a fondness for old-style cameras. Unfortunately, I don't have any old ones now, but I hope to try analog photography again someday. I really enjoyed looking through your photo collection.

Same here, same, same ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. Right? Hahaha, he wants in on that photo, lol. This old style cameras has this own beauty that we can't help but to admire it no. Even with those new design camera now, which us more advance. Still, this old one has their own uniqueness too.

I used to have a lot of trouble creating thumbnails/lead images, but now it's one of my favorite parts of creating a post, now it's harder to think of images to fill the post after the thumbnail 😆😆😆.

Wow! You still have a film camera, wish I had kept my old Polaroid. Is it possible to develop film anywhere near you and/or do you ever take use your film camera anymore. I think it is getting harder and harder and more expensive to find people who know how to develop photos. Cute tabby, meow!

Same here, same here, it's a bit challenging but that is making it more fun ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. Oh yes that's another dilemma after the first one (≧▽≦)

It looks old when it comes to design but I still find this kind pretty and cool. And sadly there nothing like that anymore. The one I know already close their shop and its really from a long ago. Yes true, finding a film too is much harder now, sadly.

BTW thank you for the ecency point ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
