From Streets to a New Home: Giving Our Adopted Cat a New Identity and More and More Love

Remember the baby cat we adopted week ago? I named her "Lucky" and I love how well mannered she is as I spent more time with her and discovered a few of her traits. Although she can't stop herself from peeing and pooping on her cage, but if she has choice, she will walk down the yard and do her business there. And that's what I like her. When she did it in the yard, she'll make sure to cover her mess with sand. What a good manner she has, I love her for that! Another thing I noticed of her is that, she's super afraid to the other cats, even with the friendly ones Batik and Nikka. I dunno, feels like she has trauma or something.

And now, she treats me more as her Mom and I very much love it! I mean, i'm the only one taking care of her so she has no choice haha. But she's also good with the oldies. Actually, she's just a well behaved baby cat that maybe knows she's safe with us herw. Hihi. But seriously, why she always look mad (≧▽≦).

Here's my favorite moment, her walking to where I am and sleep near my foot. Like, OMG! I'm finally her mommaaaaa \(^o^)/..guess she feel safer with me now, she proceed on sleeping hihi. And she's even climbing in my lap now too, even scratches her paws in my shirt, do I look like a cat scratcher tho? Lolol

Anyways, she also has this huge fears to male cats, special mention to my Basteng. That boy just jump on Lucky to dominate her, like she's just a baby. I can't really understand this kind of behavior from a male cat aigoooo. And you see, I always leave the cage cover open so that when Lucky feel the need to sheesh, she can just go jump down to do her business but there are times that Basteng just jump on her, she'll just pee and poop to where's she's sitting coz of fears. My poor baby.

And that's why, I now have the role to bring her down the yard and watch her over while she'a doing it. Good thing I have a lot of time for her. And she always choose a good spot to hangout, because look at her view to where she's sitting. Nice yay?

Also, I'm using this cage just for her, its spacious and the hole are not that big. For a cat who has so much fears in her body, this as her cage is just right. Its also big so and to be honest, shes more comfortable in here now as I see it.

And every now and then, I had to pull her out on her cage because when she doesn't feel like going out, she will really not go out at all. She can go on her own if she wants to but, I think she's also lazy like me. Lol

After hanging out in her pot of garden, she will then rest in the extension -but only if she didn't spot the guy cats haha. I think Lucky is a man-hater. Lol. And really, her eyes is just so big. And its like she's mad at the world, like, who did this to you love? Lolol. She's always judging too lol

She's still cute though (^._.^)ノ
