Harvesting the Spiciest and Sweetest Reward From Our Yard -Yay, Everything's SOLD!

I am happily watching Mama who's picking up red chillies to sell in the market. Seriously guys, her plants, especially this red chillies are a lot helpful to her since it started giving us its fruits. Its like monthly, it produce chillies which she can sell and the money she got from it will be put into her pets foods. She can always find foods for her especially she has lots of vegetables in her garden, but getting foods for her pets are more challenging. So she's really super happy that the produce of the crops she planted are giving her so much. \(^o^)/

She already picked some chillies at the other side of the yard. Some are the small ones and she also has the long ones, or Siling Taiwan as she calls it. Look at Dindin, accompanying her with the harvest, haha. Such a cute and happy moment between them

And here's the chillies. There's not much today but this will do for a kilo of pets dogs, rice for the dogs is ranging from 20 to 25 pesos so, this is already plenty enough. She actually have like 3 to 4 tree of chillies in the yard that gave her produce. Most of them are really small though, but already giving us a lot, amazing no? ♪ \(^ω^\ )

If only the only papaya that give us fruits didn't fall and lost its fruits at earlier stage we can look forward for more crops in our yard...but still those green papayas has its uses too. But if they are ripe, mama can sell them at a higher price. ⊙﹏⊙

Let me tell you what happened...

Before that, Mama was able to sell the four big ripe papayas in the market. She was able to sold them at a good price and she used it right after that to buy kilos of rice for her pets. So what's left is the not so ripe papaya, they are small but they are really good for Tinola, or maybe for Empanada and Atchara but mama wants to sell them ripe so all we have to do now is wait.

But after selling the ripe ones, the next day, while she's cutting her firewoods, the Papaya at her back just suddenly falls and cut into half, all the papayas of course falls with half of the tree, still attach to it. That time, she's really glad that it falls into the other direction and not to her. I'm thankful too after hearing. She almost got involved into accidents thanks heaven it didn't happen

Hayssstt, Mama has no other choice but pick all the green Papaya, her best choice is sell them, unripe and at lower price. She didn't brought them in a tricycle and just walk there with 9 kilos and 13 kilos of papaya. She went to the market twice and as fresh as this, there's just so much of them, now imagine if she sold them when its already ripe.

Ripe Papaya can be sold for 25 to 30 pesos per kilo. While the green and unripe one can be sold for 10 to 12 pesos only.

Mama was able to sell 9 kilos of papaya for 12 pesos per kilo while the other 13 was sold for 10 pesos per kilo. I think its still not bad. Mama is still disappointed that one of her source of income is gone but at the same time, she's very grateful too because it really helps her in so many ways. Its the sweetest reward for her, this and everything in her lil garden \(^o^)/

Now, mama didn't completely remove the tree. Just like what she did to her one of papaya tree, she just cut an inch of it then covered it. Now all we can do is wait for it to sprout again, \(◎o◎)/. She won't be able to sell papayas that gives her more income but that's okay, it didn't completely stop, it just put into halt? And there's big change that it can continue after months ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ

I want those red chillies, are they hot and spicy? Here we call them finger chillies and they are usually hot. I always keep a packet in the fridge ready to pop into my cooking!

Your mum has greenfingers...
