It's a Busy Week for Me and My Oldies: I Finally Set the Date for My Operation and Proceed for the Lab Test and Chest X-Ray!

This really is it! I finally set the date for my operation with my doctor last January 30, with the removal of a nasal polyp in my nose. I have mixed emotions right now because the set date is February 5. Three more days, and boom! Hello, OR again. I remember my blood pressure that day, my first operation in 2017, and it was a little high, at 140 over something. Maybe because it's my first time too, and I had a cold sweat. I'm not even that overthinking that time, but my nerve is affected, I'm a little shaky too that day, lol.

Anyway, on January 30, I visited Pinamalayan's doctor with my mama. We waited for too long with the doctor, but it's okay. I really want to set the date already so that I can finally breathe in my nose. And I really want to get better too, but this time, I'll do anything for this sh*t not to come back again. I know there's always a way for it not to recur anymore. Hopefully!

So I'm number 22, and there's a lot of us here already. The doctor is late too, so we end up staying until 6:44 p.m. before it was my turn. I'm already having a headache that time because of hunger. But well, it's okay, as long as I get to set the date for my operation. We only talk about the things I have to do to proceed with the operation. He also wrote a request for some lab tests and a chest x-ray, which I will bring with me on the day of the operation.

He also wrote down what I need to do on the day of the operation. We really need to prepare early and the travel from Bansud to Calapan is almost 3 hours. Yes, he will do the operation in Calapan which is the same hospital where I got first operated. Imagine if he doesn't have the clinic in Pinamalayan, I will be forced to spend more, lol. You see his main Clinic is in Calapan, in Maria Estrella General Hospital.

Anyway, I am really thankful to him for our talk because he assured me that he would do his best regarding the amount I had to pay for the operation. He said that I have to prepare 120,000 to 130,000, or $2,143.28 to 2321.88 for it, and it makes me feel better that he will do his best to make it lower than the amount he said to me. I really hope this happens. And I already take care of my PhilHealth, so with this, I hope I don't have to pay that much for the operation.

Anyway, yesterday I proceeded with the lab test that I had to do. Mommy F accompanied me this time. It's just walking distance to our home, so she was able to come with me. I'm really thankful that we have this medical laboratory and clinic here because I don't have to travel anymore to go to Pinamalayan's doctor. It's an advantage for us because I don't have to spend a fortune on the fare to go back and forth.

We were finally here after a minute of walking. The clinic is very empty, we are actually the first patients here, haha. We decided to visit here much earlier to get things done faster. I really thought the test would be more complicated, but it's not, it is so much easier than I expected.

When the med tech arrived, she immediately got a sample of my blood using a long needle. When I saw it, I kind of got scared, but thanks heaven, it's not painful when she finally injects the needle. She also did some blood clotting, I got pierced in one of my fingers, and after 3 to 4 minutes, it's done. We just stay there for a few more minutes, and when they say that they can get the result at 10, we then proceed to the next clinic, which is the Birung Clinic.

It is also just a few minutes away from the first clinic we visit, we just have to take the same road and go back. They are located in the last spot here. They are already open, but I just waited for 30 minutes because the person who'll take the chest x-ray is not yet present.

So for me not to get bored, I decided to walk a little to look around this part here. Then I noticed those beautiful plants and flowers on the second floor of this building, so I took a photo of them. And I just love the result, seriously! I'm sure the people living here always feel good because of their awesome and lovely plants that will greet them once they open the door or the window. By the way, this clinic is really just close to the church. When I checked, the door was closed. Well, it's weekdays, so that's to be expected.

Then, after a minute of my short walk in this area, this owner-type Jeep arrived. Another patient, I think, that needs some testing or something. They have a pretty cool owner-type Jeep, and I can't remember the last time I rode into one. I'm still a kid at that time, but I know I already ride in this type of Jeep. I can rarely see this type of owner jeep nowadays. Most of the people here don't use this kind of car now. How about in your area?

Anyhow, I'm already hungry in here, so I ate one donut with powdered milk that we bought on the way. And you know, I didn't eat anything at home because of those lab tests, and my oldies said that I needed to fast before the test, which I just followed. But when I asked the people who checked on me, they said I didn't really need some fasting. Like, huhu, I only got water that morning, aigoooo. This bread here is still hot, so I consume it while it is still hot.

I already consumed one piece of bread, and minutes after that, the doctor finally arrived. We immediately proceed to the x-ray machine. I just change my clothes into a lab gown. The procedure is easy and short. In fact, our waiting time is much longer than the test itself, lol. After I gave my payment for the x-ray, the doctor said that we could go back the next day to pick up the result, which is today. Unfortunately, when I checked it this afternoon, they were still not done with it. They will just call me once the result is out.

I already got the results for my lab test, and here they are. While the chest x-ray is still in waiting. All of my lab results seem normal, but I am a little anxious about my chest x-ray results. What's the worst result that anyone can get here? Comment if you know, guys.

And that's all! Good luck to me on February 5. I really want to ask for some help on this platform, but I am too shy to do that. Is it okay to try, though? 😆🤧. I already power down some of my HP and used up some of my HBD, and that won't be the end of that, for sure. So I'm really thankful that Hive exists, because of it, I was able to pay for all these lab tests and x-rays. Even the fare for traveling back and forth from Pinamalayan to Bansud came from my Hive earnings. Thanks to God, Hive exists.

I will need more, especially on D-Day and after it. Although I can borrow the money from my mom, as much as possible, I don't want to borrow a large amount, and I planned to still use some of my money to pay for it. I just hope the market will start to boom so that it will not be too painful to use it. I don't really want to have a huge debt, But I have to do it for me to get better.

Please pray for me, guys. That's all I will ask ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ, but you can also do some other things if you so desire, ehermmm (≧▽≦).
