Just A Normal Day Before Christmas Day: The Busy Market, Buying Our Dog's Own Comforter in a Thrift Shop, and Auntie Velyn's Fluffy Pancake

Bisperas ng Pasko, everyone's so busy for sure. It's no difference from us, we're kinda busy but not too much compare before. Although I am happy that we'll finally celebrate Christmas tomorrow, but I feel like, something is missing, I feel a little empty. I can't really pinpoint what it is but that's that ƪ⁠(⁠‾⁠.⁠‾⁠“⁠)⁠┐. I'll just stop myself looking for that missing part, and just like every year, i'll go with the flow, celebrate Christmas with the oldies and mama, have a feast with a few dish in our table and just force myself to have fun? Seriously, i'm happy, but not the same as the "happiness" I felt back in 2020.

Anyways, I thought it will rain until night today, but it only lasted for an hour, thankfully. When the rain stop, we then go on our way to the market, me just to buy Coconut Milk, while mama just had to buy Flour, haha. Yes, that's the only thing we bought in the market. But you see, Mommy D already bought the needed ingredients for the Espasol and Fluffy Pancake she's planning to make, she's all ready since three days ago, lol

So our first stop is here, we brought our own coconut so using the grating machines and squeezing Out the coconut milk, this make our life much easier. Haha. We have coconut grater but I am too lazy to grate it manually.

We also stop by in the wet market and there's a lot of meat in here today, from chicken, beef and pork, there's fishes too of course. This market will be very busy for sure until tomorrow

We also check this part, vegetables and fruit sections but this one is a kinda empty. I understand though, vegetables are really expensive right now ʘ⁠‿⁠ʘ, it's not pangmasa anymore.

Moving on, I noticed that every bakery here has a lot of loaf bread than the usual. I'm sure before afternoon arrive, all of these will be cleared. But Mama preferred a buns though so that's what she bought. We also buy loaf bread before but because we already have a pancake, I stop mommy D from buying it. Too much is not really nice you know. Lol

After walking around the market, we take the other route because mama wants to buy a thick kind if comforter in thrift shops, its for her dogs, lol. We luckily found some her and she bought three of them, 10 each, really cheap no? And they are all a quality, the dogs will love it for sure. Ehe

When we go back home, I saw Mommy D and her sister making a pancake batter. Yes, it's Auntie Velyn who prepared everything, from the batter and even cooking it. Its a big batch so we are really not that confident on making a pancake this big.

When auntie Velyn finished cooking one pancake, we immediately eat it because... Why not? Hahaha. And look how fluffy it is. Huhu. She's really an expert into making a pancake. Its just the plain one no added flavoring or what but it taste good

So yeah, this will be on our table tomorrow. As tor the dish Mommy D's planning to make, I am not sure yet but it will be one dish. Its just 3 at home and we don't really eat much. There's really no need to prepare much. And even though I want to Order a cake, but we the sweets we consumed in the last few weeks, I decided to not buy it and just have it on New Year (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ. hahhh, but I really want Chicken Curry and Batchoy for tomorrow, but pork is too expensive, its also not good tor Mommy F. As for the chicken curry, it has ingredients that is bad for her as well, so I don't know. I feel like not cooking any dish is the best choice here. Lolol (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)
