[LOH - 300] I Never Get To Hear It As a Kid, But I Love Cinderella as a Young Adult -I Want My Own Prince Too!

[LOH-300]_20260806_164838_0000.png

Fairy Tail....is one of my favorite anime. Sorry, sorry, it's a Fairy Tale not the anime, lol (⌐■-■). Hmmmmmm seriously I have more ideas about murder, romance, violence, and cheating then because I watched what my oldies watch on a television. Fairy Tale in a book? Nahhh, never heard of them. I only know a romance pocket book, it is some sort of small book that mama used to rent and read on her free time.. And really, I can't remember any fairy tale stories that my parents narrate to me.

Cinderella? I first learned about Cinderella in romance pocket book (not the whole story). You know how some romance story was often associated with Cinderella, especially it has that "happily ever after" thing. Also, i only watch the live action of it, didn't even read its book nor watch the cartoon. Little Red Riding Hood? I only know know the Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Lol. I watched them when I was in college I think. Same with the Beauty and The Beast, just the live action. ಥ‿ಥ

Not as a child but as a young adult, I really like Cinderella. What I actually love about it then was when Cinderella ended up with the Prince despite what she is. I also love the search that happened the whole time and of course I love the magical presence in it, shing, shing, kablaam. As a young adult, I seriously love the idea of it, like, me getting a dashing man who'll like me for who I am, who will save me and who'll love me would be also possible to me. i kinda believe in it? Lol. I mean, I am also reading lots of romance pocket book then that's why I have this wild imagination about love and knight in shining armour, lol hahaha.

But seriously, if I knew cinderella as a kid? Would I actually love it too and believe in a fairy tale? Lol. I think my parent didn't know that their story exist then, which I think is too sad.p

Soooo...with the question "As a child, which was your favorite Fairy Tale story and how much did you believe in it?" I think I answer it too right? Though its not as a child but as young adult. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

But lemme also share something about the second one "What is something you believed as a child that you later found out was not true?"

This one is funny because I actually believed that if I swallow the watermelon seeds, it will grow in my stomach and I'll live with tree branch in my head. I mean, who wouldn't believe in it if my parents used it so scare me, lol. It is same with guavas. I also remember that one time when I accidentally swallow it, I didn't told Mom about it and just keep it to myself, scared and anxious. I also feel myself if there's something's wrong with me and frw days had past, but nothing's really happen. I still waited of course until I just forgot all about it. I discovered much earlier that watermelon seeds doesn't grow on human's stomach hahaha. And since then, I don't care much if I swallow a watermelon seeds. In fact, I just ate them with it and swallow it purposely. Like, i mean, removing the seeds one by one is just a hassle and lots of work to do so ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. Its still funny when I think about it haha.

And that's it, I hope my entry is valid especially the Fairy Tale part \(๑╹◡╹๑)ノ♬

Relate ako dito. Minsan hindi natin na-appreciate ang mga ganitong stories noong bata pa tayo, pero habang tumatanda mas naiintindihan natin ang message nila. Nice read! ✨

I grew up with the Walt Disney version of Cinderella and that original fairy tale had evolved beyond the original. Her story of being kind, resilience, goodness in the face of abuse, forgiving of the past still have value in our community and humanity, it just doesn't get materially rewarded often enough but still have their own rewards.

BTW, I'm sure not to chew and eat too many apple seeds, they do have trace amounts of naturally occurring arsenic that is toxic.

Thanks for sharing @ruffatotmeee 👠
