Made a Snack in a Snap: Mommy D's Upgraded Version of Banana Fritters -with Sesame Seeds This Time!

As i've mentioned on my recent blog, we received lots of banana, from saba to latundan from a relative and they're turning yellow incredibly fast. We can't just eat them as is because even if we eat three each a day, there's still more and we're really thankful about that..but yeah, they're too fast to ripened and that's a bit bad. But not a problem because Mommy D can always do something for that.

But before I share about our bananas, let me share the we did the other day too because I saw a whole bunch of bananas on our way home when we visit the market. There's a bunch and they are still green, I guess they are delivering it into big cities, not sure where. Banana is kinda expensive now, even Saba was sold by piece and I think the lowest price of it is 2 pesos per piece it also depends on the size. For this kind of bansna I think they're sold per kilo. How much is this in your place guysuu?

The owner of this shop is also the owner of these bananas I think. In some month, we always see lots of different kind of banana in front of her store. Mama just bought kilo of rice from her. Now I miss seeing a banana tree in the yard. Back then when this place is not renovates yet, banana just sprout here and we'll have them instantly. How do we plant banana again? I really have no idea

So moving on to Mommy D's banana recipe today. This one is just like a upgraded version of banana fritters haha..it still has crushed peanuts and seriously, that's my number one favorite ingredient for this recipe. Mom used flour, milk, sugar, water, smashed ripe bananas, pinch of salt, crushed peanuts. Ans for the special toppings, Sesame seeds which is a leftover from last, last, last month, yes, yes, that long ( /^ω^)/♪♪

Let me just share how much crushed peanuts we put in it, this mixture is actually from today and Mommy D used Milo in it instead of milk, but we'll stick to the original I just want to share how much peanuts we put in it. Yum, yum!

The consistency of the batter should not be thick or watery for easy frying. We'll need oil in cooking it, once the oil is hot I adjusted it to low heat coz we don't want to burn it. Then we'll top it with the sesame seeds. Its better to put them immediately to make sure that it will stick strongly to our mixture. And yep, I did the frying mommy D only prepare the mixture for the banana fritters ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Like this, this is the last batch and there's still a lot of sesame that didn't stick well to the mixture. But well, what's important is mahalaga.

Beautiful, beautiful!! There's a burn part but that's the crispier one..we can't really avoid burning it especially if i'm holding my phone, aigoooo, don't ever do that guys. I got distracted because u see, my favorite Korean Idol STRAY KIDS performed for the first time in Governors Ball in New York. When it comes to Festival, Stray Kids is good with that especially with the type of songs they have. I was cooking when I heard a new version, EDM version of Side Effect..and I crazily jumps with the tugs, tugs, tugs.. they are seriously the best!!! And thats how I burn a few if my banana fritters by, lolol

But they still taste good and that's what matters, we enjoyed it as snacks until now, we actually made a lot, hihi ♪ \(^ω^\ ).... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, meori apeuda ♪ \(^ω^\ )( /^ω^)/♪♪
