No More Sweets Every After Meal For Me! Bye! Bye! I'm Letting You Go Now, Oh My Yummy Sweet Treat.

I really like eating sweets every after meal, like you know, having sweets after having your lunch or dinner is the best! It makes me feel full and satisfied. I'm not sure if it's just me, but there were times that it became a habit of mine, and stopping it is super hard.

But when I realized that I'm having lots of sweets already, that's when I decided to limit myself and learn to get used to not having sweets anymore after meals. I don't want to have diabetes, my father is diabetic, and he died because of that, so it's better to avoid it while I still can because I might develop that too and that's not good.

But there are still times that I indulge myself to have sweets after meals, like chocolates, pretzels coated with chocolate, cookies, ice cream, and even sweet candies. It's hard to say no to those yummy treats, and it's hard to completely change them, you know. So there are times that I just eat them and only think about the goodness that those sweets have. They are that irresistible, lol.

But now, I really have to let go of that habit. I will be forced to do it, but actually, no one is pushing me to stop it. It's just a decision made solely by me. It's for my own good too, that's what I'm thinking, and this time, I decided to really be careful with my health. But most importantly, I am doing it so that I don't have to experience a recurring nasal polyp and suffer from it over and over.

October was when I learned about the growing thing in my nose for the second time. Yes, the second time, and just like the first time, the only solution that the doctor can suggest is to get surgery to remove it and not just sink it. I don't really have a choice, and if I want to live comfortably again, breathing in my nose and not in my mouth like I'm doing now, I have to do it.

So, I planned to go with the surgery even if I had to borrow the money. And, this time, I want to be extra careful and avoid some foods, including sweets, if they're needed, so that they won't regrow again. According to healthline.com, there is no exact known cause why polyps grow, but they are said to originate from long-term inflammation and may be related to different kinds of conditions such as allergies, asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis, and cystic fibrosis. And I am really not sure if I have one of those, but I suspect that I have allergies or chronic rhinosinusitis, or maybe both.

And with allergies, you all know that sweets have those ingredients that trigger allergies and inflammation, so I really have to let go of those sweets after my surgery. And even if I crave it, no more after-meal sweets from now on, this is just devastating. I can choose to still eat it, but nahhh, this time I will let it all go. I am bot rich so if I want to avoid spending another hundred thousand, I have to change this habit. I know I can do it, go self! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

And I even promised before that I would try more sweets, cakes, or even tarts this year, huh? I have to cross this off my list and really try my best to avoid those foods.

So for now, I have to enjoy these sweets with me because, after my surgery, which will happen on February 5, there are no more sweets for me anymore.

And yep, I already scheduled the operation for this nasal polyp on February 5, next month. I will be busy too to get some lab test and ughhh, it's mean I have to ready some cash again. This is where I really appreciate Hive more you know, in time like this. Good Luck to me! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ.

Are you sure kaya mo ilet go yan?
I told myself to stop eating bread, cakes, and other foods with flour and gluten. But I failed.. January pa lang, dami ko na nakain na cake and bread kya lage constipated 😂.
Sa dami dami ba naman ng food intolerance, bat yun pa 🥲..
Mas carry ko pa ilet go ang chocolates and candies.. Hehe

And yess, it is not good if we eat them too much.
Anything in excess is not good, whatever that is :)

It also reminds me to consume less because I also like sweets and every day I eat chocolate or cheese sandwiches, cakes and cookies.

Cheers for both of us to cut down on sugar!

A tough challenge Ruffa. I think I should cut back too but don't know if I will quit though. Doctor today I fear after having root canal cavity for so long. Getting rid of tooth last week, I feel a lot better. A few things have happened improved like better sleep and more energy.

Hold on. Is it the sweets that made that caused the recurring nasal polyp? I need to know because I crave sweets after every meal nowadays, so I can stop before it's too late.

Nooo, it's because I think I have allergies, and what triggers allergies? Somw sweets right with those dairy product. But you don't have it so you're still good. And I really have a problem with my nose ever since, I always have a runny nose and I think I really need to take more vitamins to also boost my immune system, arghh, this is just 😫😫

Yes, it's good to eat or lick sweet things but we should limit them because eating too much of sweets causes diabetics. Also good luck with your surgery.

awww I hope your operation goes well. I do believe we should give ourselves a few treats here and there but all in moderation. Also switching to healthier treats is an option but may need a bit research. Best of luck for a healthier you 🥂

A good decision on your part. Sometimes we indulge ourselves too much without thinking of the consequences. Kayanin yan sis 💪 💪💪

Oo sis. I know mahirap yung totally na hindi ka kakain, limiting consumption is the way to go and siguro, time comes na tuluyan nang ma-stop.
