The Public Plaza Stage for Entertainment or Events in Plaza de Bansud

I ran some errands this morning, it was my mom who asked for them. If I'm in a foul mood, for sure, I'll snap and never do it, but then I thought, while I'm already in it, I can use that opportunity to do something that I can enjoy, even if the weather is already hot early in the morning. It's just 8 a.m., but the sweat I got from walking is too much, lol.

But even so, I didn't complain to them. Because I enjoy it too, and seriously, doing things alone is so much better than when I'm with someone. So, yes, I planned to have a walk on Plaza de Bansud after doing my business. By the way, that business that I am talking about is paying our electricity bills.

I went there on foot because of my plan after that. I think it took me 10 minutes to arrive there. I walk slowly because I want to enjoy the moment. I just wore my jacket and facemask, so I have no problem hiding my face. And I can do anything I can without getting anxious or whatever. It's a good walk, as I get to see a lot on the way.

Just like this man who's busy putting his product on display. I suddenly miss those days where I used to play with my friends and siblings. We used to create our own kite using plastic and a "katol." (Katol is the kind of product that shoos away those mosquitoes.) (My favorite brand is Baygon Katol, btw.) I really missed those times.

It is much smaller compared to this, but who cares about the size? As long as we can play and fly it into the sky, then everything is perfect. By the way, the use of that "katol" when creating our kite is to attach every part of our kite. It's kind of a lot of work, but finishing it is all worth it! Just watching it above is enough to put a smile on our faces. It's a happy past.

Moving on, after paying our bills, I immediately get out to this hellish place (I mean, it's too hot, and it gets even hotter because I'm wearing a jacket, lol). I walk slowly to the location because I am enjoying the path more. Although it's hot, the cold breeze is in there to give me more fresh air. It's not bad. The line is not that long, which is why I finish my business here quickly.

A lot of good things greeted me as I went directly to Plaza de Bansud, but I particularly want to give more attention to this spot where I had a lot of good memories before.

There you have it: a public stage for every event that you want. This is where those important events take place, especially during the Christmas season because more people are visiting Bansud. And this place can accommodate more people compared to our gym. A singing contest, a dance contest, or whatever you want that the audience will love.

And you can sit comfortably on these beautiful benches or wherever you prefer. I am actually thankful that these exist here. When we often visit Plaza, I can see a lot of couples flocking here while watching. And some are like newlyweds who can't be separated for one second. My reaction is just always "nyayyyyy"! Lol..

And oh, look at this art. It may not be the best, but I think it's pretty too. What's painted here changes depending on the occasion. I don't know how many times they change it. In my college days, what's painted here was much more meaningful and beautiful, and I think that one is still the best of all.

And the design of those benches, isn't it pretty? This too has changed a lot of times already. I remember the last time it was painted yellow, but now they've changed it to white, and with those designs, it looks even more pretty. I like it more compared to that yellow color in the past, lol.

But anyways, just look at the surroundings of this perfect spot here. Who wouldn't love to stop by here if this was the kind of scenery that you would see? This place is especially perfect at night. All the lights and the fountain are on. We don't even need an e-fan here because the place has its own natural air conditioning, which is much fresher, much colder, and much better for our lungs.

It's sad, though, that we don't have those Friday night happenings now. Friday Night Events happen every Friday, and they will put up a bigger screen that will serve as a screen for the projector. And there, they have a line-up of movies that anyone can watch with their families, special someone, friends, etc. It became a resting place for those who just came from work or those students who were tired from their all-day activities.

I just wish they would bring back those events again, just like before. For sure, more people will enjoy it, and they will use that as their bonding time with their families. I don't really visit there that often, it's my mama who always drags me there, but it's really not a bad event. If ever they bring that back, I'll attend maybe once a month, lol.
