My Favorite Place For A Getaway

I love my job as an educator but the truth is that it can sometimes be overwhelming, what, with going around from class to class, teaching and explaining for hours, and many more so it is imperative to want to have a getaway.

Truth be told, whenever I watch movies where people go on a little vacation to a cabin in the woods or a secluded area to just have fun, it always makes me light up and I do wish to also experience something like that but well I don't think I can do so here for lots of reasons, security being the topmost amongst a whole lot of things that might go wrong, so the best close getaway that I love is a visit to the beach.

I have learned that spending time away helps me focus, it makes me feel happy, lively, and relaxed knowing that I could be without any form of distractions. I love going to the beach when I just want to have a quiet time with my headphones listening to cool music while watching the waves and also people going into the water, having fun.

I don't like going to the beach during festive periods because it is always overcrowded with a whole lot of screaming. It might be fun for some but I am not entirely comfortable with it.

I also love going to the beach with a friend that way I can go into the water without damage to my property, especially my phone. I once visited the beach with a friend when I was way younger and I could recall I didn't want to go into the water or get closer to it but my friend had other plans because as we were strolling along the sand, he carried me into the water without knowing my phone was in my pocket. The saltwater damaged my phone and I have been conscious ever since if I was to go to the beach alone, the closest I could ever get is by the sandbars(once bitten, triple times shy).

But despite my various visits to the beach, the ones I do enjoy more are when I go with my loved one. It also helps pack some pastries and drinks along to help keep the flow going. I once visited the beach with two friends and we went with food and drinks, it was so fun that we never wanted to go back home. We got back home late that day, and the ride back home was the funniest part.

So far, I have only been able to go on a short trip to the beach for just a day because the beach is just about an hour's drive from my house, so I could go early, spend lots of hours at the beach, and still get back home on time.

I am looking forward to going on a weekend gateway to other cool places which are a bit far from my place, where I could fully relax and also have fun for the weekend.
