Hola Hivers, Espero estén muy bien. En mi recorrido por conocer más de la ciudad en donde vivo, tuve el placer de conocer la casa natal de Andrés Eloy Blanco.

Hello Hivers, I hope you are very well. In my journey to learn more about the city where I live, I had the pleasure of visiting the house where Andrés Eloy Blanco was born.

Para entrar en contexto de quién fue esta persona Ilustre y patrimonio no solo de Venezuela, sino también de Cumaná, Estado Sucre; ya que fue en esa ciudad donde él nació y justo la casa que visité, dónde vivió hasta los 9 años.

Si buscamos una información rápida y si yo busco en mis memorias sobre todo lo que vi sobre él durante mis estudios desde escuela hasta bachillerato, sabremos que él fue considerado una de las figuras más importantes de la poesía en Venezuela, ya que fue escritor, periodista, ensayista, político y humorista venezolano que por medio de todos esos niveles y logros educativos, ejerció papeles importes que lo hacen formar parte de la historia.

To enter in context of who was this illustrious person and patrimony not only of Venezuela, but also of Cumaná, Sucre State; since it was in that city where he was born and just the house I visited, where he lived until he was 9 years old.

If we look for a quick information and if I look in my memories about everything I saw about him during my studies from school to high school, we will know that he was considered one of the most important figures of poetry in Venezuela, since he was a Venezuelan writer, journalist, essayist, politician and humorist that through all those levels and educational achievements, he played important roles that make him part of history.

Le encantaba escribir y eso lo pude notar en la visita a su casa. Si oficina con un escritorio intacto y su pluma. En las paredes de la casa están en marcados sus poemas escritos a puño y letras, otras con máquinas de escribir y correcciones a mano. Una belleza todo lo observado, que te hace imaginarte momentos.

Como poeta logro escribir innumerables poemas, su libro de versos, poemarios que fueron dignos de premios internacionales que le lo llevaron a ser considerado el poeta más popular del país.
En sus ensayos lograba escribir artículos con un gran contenido de humor y una sátira que iba más al contenido social. En la casa se ven enmarcados muchos de sus poemas.

Puedes ver su recorrido como político en las fotografías que están en la pared de la casa, donde se le observa con presidente de la época y que él formó parte del congreso.

La casa tiene una biblioteca bellísima, por dónde te metes hay libros y allí te vas dando cuenta de lo que cultivaba si intelecto desde muy temprana edad. Es que si nos ponemos a pensar, antes se le solía inculcar el amor por la lectura y la escritura. Ya sé sabe que el leer despierta la mente.

También en la casa se pueden seguir viendo fotografías personales y familiares, dónde aparece con su esposa e hijos.

Los cuartos de la casa me impresionaron como se mantienen aún. Ese jardín central que actualmente está una escultura en su honor y dónde me tomé fotos. También podemos ver pianos.
En serio todo una experiencia linda, un lugar lleno de historia y cultura.

Yo fui por un homenaje a una gran persona también de la ciudad (esa se la contaré en otro post) que se haría en la casa de Andrés Eloy, pero ni loca iba a desaprovechar la oportunidad de conocerla.
Sin duda otra experiencia única, que espero poder repetir porque quiero llevar a mi hijo a que la conozca y que agradezco hoy en día que yo pueda con una edad más madura darle la importancia que se merece esos espacios históricos.

I went for a tribute to a great person also from the city (I will tell you about that in another post) that would take place in the house of Andrés Eloy, but I was not going to miss the opportunity to know it.
Undoubtedly another unique experience, which I hope to repeat because I want to take my son to know it and I am grateful today that I can with a more mature age give the importance it deserves these historical spaces.
