RE: Let's Mix Another One

Back in the 1990s, we had something called video salons. They were small rooms that could hold around 15–20 people, with a regular-sized TV and a VCR at the front. That’s how we watched movies back then.
At the time, very few people could afford to buy a VCR, so these video salons were incredibly popular. There was technically an age restriction, but nobody really paid much attention to it.
One day, some older guys took me along to see this horror movie. After watching it, I spent almost a month imagining Freddy lurking around every corner! 😄
Still, those were great times, and I remember them with a lot of fondness.

This is interesting and new as well, we never had them in my country. We had video renting and it was popular to rent out a bunch of tapes for a weekend, then gather somewhere, at a friend's place, then watch movies all night. But this was around 88', '89. After 89, everything was available to buy, so the video renting business died.
However, I've seen a few horror movies back then, but don't like horror 😬
Maybe things were just as you described in the cities, but since I grew up in a rural area, owning a VCR was something we could only dream about!
Kids today probably wouldn't even understand what we're talking about. 😄
You're right. Kids these days have no idea. I'm not saying all, as some are poor and barely have anything to eat, but the majority are spoiled and can't even appreciate what they have.
Those were different times for sure.
