Nice end to a good day
On the way home, we stopped by a small cafe on the corner of our block. The place had just opened and its neon Glase sign was visible from afar.
I must say that the word "glace" is translated from French as "icy", "frozen". And usually a drink with this name implies cold coffee with the addition of ice cream.
I don’t know about you, but we also prepare this drink on the basis of hot coffee (which is not at all surprising at our sub-zero temperatures).
There was only one visitor besides us in the cafe. The young man was drinking black coffee, glancing at the phone, obviously expecting a call.
There were delicate desserts in the window, but we didn't want sweets. After a long walk, we just wanted to warm up and have a hot drink.
It was very pleasant to sit in a cozy place and have a quiet conversation.
Imagine, we were so carried away by coffee and our conversation that I came to my senses when our glasses were empty ... Coffee can work wonders!)
Should coffee lovers be educated about latte?
If you talk about the recipe in a nutshell, then hot espresso coffee is poured into the milk (in a ratio of 3: 1)
Half an hour passed quickly. I hope we'll come here again. The cafe is open from 7-30 in the morning, which means that you can take coffee here on the way to work.

По дороге домой мы зашли в небольшое кафе на углу нашего квартала. Заведение открылось совсем недавно и его неоновая вывеска Glase была видна издалека. Надо сказать, что слово "глясе" переводится с французского как "ледяной", "замороженный". И обычно напиток с таким названием подразумевает холодный кофе с добавлением мороженного. Не знаю, как у вас, но у нас этот напиток готовят и на основе горячего кофе (что совсем не удивительно при наших минусовых температурах).
В кафе кроме нас был только один посетитель. Молодой мужчина пил чёрный кофе, поглядывая на телефон, очевидно, ожидая звонка. Мы заняли свободный столик и заказали латте. Надо ли рассказывать любителям кофе о latte? Если рассказать о рецепте приготовления в двух словах, то в молоко льют горячий кофе-эспрессо (в пропорции 3:1)
В витрине стояли нежные десерты, но нам не хотелось сладкого. После долгой прогулки, нам хотелось просто согреться и выпить горячего напитка. Было очень приятно посидеть в уютном месте за тихой беседой.
Полчаса пролетели незаметно. Надеюсь, мы ещё сюда прийдём. Кафе работает с 7-30 утра, значит, кофе здесь можно взять по дороге на работу.

Hello @ruta-rudens, great find of a coffee shop this seems. I agree with temperatures below zero, the main thing you crave is something warm.
I like the idea of a coffee scented candle. I wonder if the smell of coffee emitting from it would have any psychological effects on whether you're able to relax, or more alert and energetic?

In Germany, Japan and South Korea they conducted an experiment with the smell of coffee and the conclusion is this: the smell of coffee calms and relaxes, improves well-being, activates the immune system and stimulates the brain.

That's very true @qwerrie. A drip machine would be better for milk or ice cream :)

В маленьких заведениях редко спрашивают, там всего два столика, но так-да, на входе почти везде просят предъявить.
С тех пор как эти куркоды пытаются ввести, я ещё ни разу ни в одно заведение не стучался, даже не зна. ситуации. Но где-то точно спрашивают...придурки)
Сегодня у нас рейд был по городу. В транспорте и торговых центрах. Начали штрафовать в первую очередь за отсутствие масок.
Вообще-то это нарушение законов и Конституции. Маразм крепчает, дебилы,бл...
факин шитт. то есть нет кода - не зайдешь? дожили. по идее, кмк всем теперь одна дорога в таком случае,-- разоряться.. или игнорировать это указание - боязливо, с оглядкой...
Так ведь и разоряются. Эти маленькие кофейни потому и выживают , что торгуют на вынос-можно дождаться заказа не заходя внутрь.

Да, совсем небольшое кафе, там всего два столика стоят, но многие покупают и уносят с собой в дорогу: вход в двух шагах от перекрёстка))
