Pizza roll Christmas tree!

Wanna have a look at the delicious snack I made for our New Year's table?

With some puff pastry dough, bacon, ham and gouda cheese I made pizza rolls.

I covered my dough in tomato sauce (with some mustard, oregano and thyme), then I added shredded bacon and ham, grated cheese and chopped green and red peppers. I rolled the dough and cut in one-finger-thick rolls, I put the rolls in a baking tray forming a Christmas tree, then brushed with some eggwash and baked at 200° C in a preheated oven for half an hour more or less.

I made two trays, the first one almost vanished once out of the oven, the second I had to save for the lunch table the other day :P

They were yummy, they just needed a little less time in the oven I think, as some sauce that dripped on the bottom of the tray was overcooked. Next time I'll know!
