Saturday lunch table!

Saturday morning and since the weather allowed it, we headed to the beach. We made a quick stop at a supermarket to get some bread and snacks first and then drove those few kilometers to get to the closest beach village. We parked the car and walked across the sand to get to closer to the beach where we had a snack and Little Man enjoyed some messy play with the sand, shells and pebbles. The sea breeze was a bit chilly and the sky a little clouded, so he didn't seem much interested in getting wet and kept away from the sea today 😅

After letting him get as dirty as he wanted, we kept walking to get to the nearby playground. There, our little guy chose the older kids' swings to play and even had a tantrum because he could not sit on them unassisted 🤦‍♀️ A few minutes and a lot of cries later, he decided that it was ok to be carried on his dad's shoulders and walk back to the car. The view of the trees and houses of the neighborhood seemed interesting and he soon forgot about the silly swings he kept falling off from. Driving home, he didn't stop gazing out of the window asking me for BREAAAAD! (someone was hungry after all this playing and hysteria).

Later in the afternoon, our table had fried delicacies for the day! Except for Little Man who had chicken soup 🤣

Nothing special here, just half a cucumber grated and squeezed to remove the excess water, then 300-400 gr of strained yogurt, some olive oil, a little vinegar, a little dry garlic powder and salt to taste. This traditional yogurt dip goes perfect with a lot of things, especially fries and meat!
