Saturday's tasty sins!!
A rich table during the weekends when my working rhythms slow down is a must! Yesterday, I used the leftover barbecue and prepared a bunch of tasty salads to go with it.
A cold pasta salad made with fusilli pasta, yoghurt, ham, grated gruyere, mustard, olive oil, white pepper, curry and smoked paprika (nothing much, but we had it without complaining).
Boiled potato salad. For this one I boiled potatoes and carrots and made a cold sauce with finely chopped dry onion, parsley, dill, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, peppermint, lemon juice, mustard and olive oil.
Tzatziki!! What can I say for this cold yogurt dip! Just grate and strain some cucumber, add it in a bowl of yoghurt, a little salt, a little pepper, dry garlic powder to taste, some olive oil and a little vinegar (I used balsamic apple vinegar) and you have the perfect dip for meat and fries!
Leftover barbecue! We never throw food away, especially those so well cooked souvlakia and pork chops!
And fries!! Cooked perfectly that tasted like store bought chips. The trick is one and I recently discovered it, peel, wash and slice your potatoes and then let them sit in boiling water for a few minutes (I usually leave them 2-4). Strain them well and fry in hot vegetable oil. The result will amaze you!
I hope your tables are also blessed with lots of delicious dishes on it and loved ones around it!
Bon appetit!

Wow can you give some to us? Hehehe just kidding..
Hahaha 🤣
Throwing Food is a bad habit and glad to know you don't throw food outside, we also don't do that, it's disrespectful and there is something extra , it better to give it to some needy than throwing it out.
No, we never throw food, even if nobody wants to have it, we share it with our two dogs, especially leftover meat. I hate it when food ends up in the rubbish bin instead of an empty stomach...
Alright now you have me drooling.
Next time I 'll send you some 🤣🤣
