My first day in year 20 20 3

First I will Love to say a big Happy New Year to @everyone.

This is one of the times I didn't get to spend the festive period with my family, well it's not like I didn't want to go home to be with them but it just happened that for some reasons the price of fuel over here decided to go up a bit higher that usually this period.

So aside from the fact that during this period transportation gets high the whole hike up in the cost of fuel just made the whole thing a bit worse, so there it is I couldn't really afford travelling back home to be with my Family.

Over here, it's kind of a tradition for us to be at a place of worship for a cross over night ushering us into the new year. So on the 31st night I was at the church, I ushered myself into year 20 20 3 at the church.

It's was a fun night for me, I danced, sang, made new friends, prayed and even lost my voice in the process due to shouting and rejoicing.

After the whole cross over program, the first day of the year happened to be on a Sunday so a quick sunday service/ Thanksgiving service was done and it ended around some minutes past 2am.

It's was still quite Early to head back home, so I stayed back and tried to sleep a bit but it felt like the mosquito in this new year were quite angry about something, they did not go easy on me. So I had to stay up seeing a movie on my phone( my first movie of the year 'Mr Harringa's Phone)

Few hours later, I decided to hit the road to go home, it was a bright and beautiful morning already. I left the church in group of some friends, after standing for awhile at the bus stop to board a bus and couldn't get any(because it felt like all the drivers decided to take a day off).

Anyways we decided to walk down, we were chatting, having a good time then most of them got to their bus stops, so we were kind of reducing in numbers until it was just me.

After sometime of walking I finally got a bus, so I stopped at the market first to get some few stuff to make fried rice and salad. I finally got home and it was 8:15am already, I had a hot bath first before heading to the kitchen.

Food is ready, I ate a lot than usual, I had some snacks, drinks and sweet too and at this moment all I needed was a good bed rest,so I took a nap and was woken up from the loud bang on my door. My friends are here they came with friends and friends of their's they also came with drinks,baskets of fruit and snacks, it was a full house.

We played some loud music, danced, played some local games too, took pictures together, did some funny and dancing video's together then after a while they all left.

I enjoyed my first day of the year it was a fun indoor day for me, there was a lot to eat and drink . Though I wasn't with my family I still had a fun filled day.
