We live for a better life not a better country

For a very long time now, the situation of things in my country only seems to be getting worse as the days go by.

I can vividly remember those days in primary school, every Friday on the assembly ground we had this special Friday matching song.

parents listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow

We even wrote essay on how to make the country a better place. But here I am still hearing kids sing that same song, and it's so disheartening that we that ought to be the leaders are being ruled by old men and political that are supposed to be on resting beds or on leave.

As long as we keep getting ruled by this set of people that there only aim is to keep embezzling money from the nation thereby making the economy and rate of living hard and also denying the youths that are supposed to be the leaders of a never coming tomorrow opportunity or even providing employment opportunities to them, then I'm sorry to say that it will take a longer time for things to ever get a bit better here in my country.

The rate of hardship keeps increasing as well as the quest for power. To be honest right now all we can pray and hope for is a country with lesser corruption, because it would take longer time to try to get rid of corruption completely, because the damages done are beyond one generation repair.

Unfortunately, Greed is one major problem in the country not just only amongst the political but generally with we humans. The urge to want to acquire things in excess regardless if others get hurt in the process, and then when they get into power their major concern will only be for theirselves and family, buying lands and building many houses, going on tours and giving their children a better education forgetting the citizen and meeting their basic needs.

Presently theirs nothing worth being proud of in my country no good roads, even the standard educational system can't be affordable by all, poor power supply, theirs a long list of them. But then can only live for a better life, not a better country.
