We’re more scared because people that are scared stupid will always make stupid decisions (while gaslighting themselves that they’re being smart and making sensible decisions) and will cough up all their freedom for the delusion of security.
One of my friends was complaining that her kids school is now like a prison as apparently the gates get locked once school starts and they have to pass in and out if they come in late or have to leave early. I had no idea what to do with that.

Too true... At the start I heard parents say that they felt safer that the kids were fenced in... Or was it that all bad things were fenced out?
