Unlocking Double Jumps and exploring the other side of hummingberg || Spirit Farer.

In the last post I was recruiting Atul and got myself two obols, now I can return to hummingberg to get that upgrade where I can do double jumps and with that, we can check what's all about the upstairs gang we met. Atul looks pretty nice, I also love his animations when we reach a destination and when I give him something to eat. I think I also saw him watering the plants sometimes, But not all the time though. but it's pretty helpful.

After giving some food to him, I went to set sail for hummingberg. the ship started to move on the course, meanwhile, I collected the coffee I put in the oven a while back, and I fished a squid after Atul upgraded my fishing pole or fixed it. ever since then, I have been fishing some rare fish that I can cook and sell to the raccoon on hummingberg Island for some really good money, I can even sell coffee for some money. After checking up on the coffee I just brewed, I then went to the guest room where Gwen was resting, I served her the coffee and she was amazed by how much the coffee tasted, then her favorite food on her profile was updated as coffee, so I can cool her down if anything happens with a hot cup of coffee, ship grown and freshly brewed.

If you remember the last post when we set sail from humming berg, we have to cross through a thunderstorm to reach the island where we recruited Atul, it was raining and the thunder was kinda scary at first but then nothing happened, now I have set sail to the hummmingberg and have to cross the thunderstorm again, but now we have Atul with us and he told me something very valuable. I just like how things work out in this game. he told me that we can capture thunder in a bottle and they are quite a valuable resource in his world. also, we will be protected by the everlight if we got hit by lightning but we can collect the lightning in the bottles, I was first scared by it then went ahead to give it a try, I didn't know how it worked but then I got the hang of it after getting hit by thunder. to capture them we need to have an empty bottle, Atul himself gave me a few empty bottles for a head start. first, there will be an electrical circuiting glow on the floor where the thunder is going to hit, we just have to go and stand there as soon as the glow appears. In the end, I collected over five bottles of Thunder because I only had five empty bottles with me, After that I got glims instead of lightning in bottles because I ran out of them. then I collected over five hundred glims which are very good.

Then I started to fish until we reach the hummingberg, since Atul prepared the pole, we've been getting some good fish, even now I got eel, but these fish is hard to fish, we have to time it out, or else they'll break the line. then I checked the field if I can harvest it, but they still have some time to grow until I can harvest them. Then I went to the humming berg, where I found that we can actually enter every house there. I did not notice that when I first came there. I was just passing through the houses when I noticed a small glow around the door of the house, then I just pressed the X button on my controller which is the button for interaction in this game. Stella just opened the door and entered the house like it was her own. I was surprised at how I did not notice it, to be honest, I am happy now that at least I noticed it now, If not I have lost some seeds and other resources that I found there.

Then I reached the shrine where I spent the two obols I had with me to upgrade Stella to do the double jump. I don't know why daffodils also have to fly like that, maybe she is getting the double jump too, maybe that's why the shrine asked me to get two obols. anyway, now we can move freely and explore this island without any disturbance.

Then I just humped my way up to every house I'd seen on the island, then I found lots of resources and even a necklace, then I reached the place where the ladder is halfway broken, I got up there very easily by using double jump, but the person that invited me to the upstairs crew was just moving away from me, when I confronted me he just said he lied, I got really furious but then he said even upstairs crew are feeling lonely, he thought that inviting Stella could make them happy, but I didn't see any crew up there except for a sheep, I'm not sure what he was doing to the sheep while he was up there. anyway, I have seen what he wanted from me, but I have nothing to provide except for a place on the ship, but it is not my place, he have to accept it, but he was just standing there. then I started to explore the place. I met another guy on the balcony, he asked me if I had a full-serving kitchen, then he asked me to come when I have one. so I have to come here in future it seems.

that dark shadow overlay indicates that they'll join our crew, so it is not a waste after all. As soon as I bumped into her, she recognized Daffodil, and she recognized Stella too, it seems she is a teacher to Stella, she didn't tell me how she winded up here, we need to progress through the story to learn what happened to her. to be honest I am not even ready for Gwen's story. the ending is going to be heartbreak after heartbreak. then she went to the ship ahead of me, I wonder what form she's gonna take.
