The Final Judgment
My entry into the LMAC Round 123 - Team up with HiQ
For this week's contest, I went with an Afterlife concept that I had in mind.
I always wanted to know more about the afterlife from a young age. My mother always told me to be a good person in life and not to fight or hurt others in any way. She always told me that people who do good things in life will go to heaven and those who hurt others will get punished by God (karma) and also they will go to Hell. I always thought of the final judgment. As every people will do bad and good things in life and does that mean everyone will go to Hell? and that was my biggest question.
After thinking a lot, I got the answer to that question. If there is any such thing as an afterlife Heaven or Hell, then the final judgment will be taken on the basis of the Good and Bad things that we have done in our life. The Lady of Judgment will be making blind decisions on the basis of good and bad things that we have done in our life by using the Tarazu (a device used for measuring the weight of two things). Everything that we do is recorded and the record will be brought in front of the Lady of Judgement for the final judgment. The Lady of Judgment will be blind. So that, she will take a fair judgment based on the things mentioned in the records without any kind of discrimination.

Creative Process
From the template image, I only took the rock for making the portal.
I used the polar coordinates filter to distort the image to a circular shape.

Then I used a small part of that to create the skewed mountain in the manipulation.
For creating the portal effect I used images of skies. After aligning them I blended them all together. I used the blend modes like Hue, Soft Light and Hard Light.
