Ocio divino tesoro / Divine treasure leisure ☕ [ESP-ENG]

Greetings, friends of the Holos-Lotus community, a space for thinking and expressing ourselves creatively, where we discover a wide variety of styles. For me, having a little leisure time is vital for my mind, which never stops. And sometimes I think about screens and how we get hooked on them, but of course, we're adults and we have the ability to decide when to stop because we have obligations to fulfill. That's part of the difference with children; they can stay on for hours if adults let them.

Having leisure time is like any basic human need. We feel we need time for ourselves. After so much work or study and fulfilling our daily responsibilities, we need moments to clear our minds. I mainly watch videos, and if they're funny, even better. But many times I get hooked on them and without realizing it, I've "lost" a few hours of my life. Undoubtedly, we can't think of leisure negatively as something bad, and as I mentioned, it's a need; the key is moderation.

Our friend @emiliorios, in his post Passive Leisure, Laziness, or Lack of Discernment - Against Therians, Emotionally Dysphoric, and the Unbounded: Service and Altruism (ES/EN), shares several insights that reminded me of a phrase that goes something like this: a person who is busy doing something doesn't have time to criticize or look at others. More simply put: Busy People Don't Have Time to Meddle in Other People's Lives. It's not that we don't socialize; it's simply that those who are working on themselves don't have time to point fingers, criticize, and harm others. They should look in the mirror first. You are invited to discuss this topic.

I know it's difficult, because we're not perfect and we tend to meddle in other people's lives as if we were experts who know everything.

Surely this lack of leisure activities is what sets the trend for today's youth, who try to emulate absurd things like animals. For me, it's a huge step backward for humanity, but it's just a passing fad. In fact, it's already shifted to something like cleansing their auras. Have you seen it on social media?

The "new trend of cleansing one's aura" is virally known as "aura farming" (or aura battles). It's not an esoteric energy cleansing ritual, nothing like that, but rather an urban trend where young people compete in public squares and online, demonstrating charisma, presence, and attitude without resorting to violence or physical fights. It seems like a great step forward based on the descriptions we've been given so far. We'll see where this new form of youthful leisure takes us.

For me, writing is a kind of leisure; it's the best distraction I have, and at the same time, it serves as catharsis, a way to share ideas and moments. We'll find many definitions of leisure, and everyone enjoys it in different ways. What we can say for sure is that it's a necessity to be able to enjoy some moment of distraction for our minds. Visiting museums, painting, learning to play a musical instrument, taking care of plants become our best leisure activities after the screen.

See you on the path of distraction and leisure.
