Una nueva semana en las actividades de las damas de hive, un espacio creado para compartir ideas, contenido e inquietudes de nuestras damas de comunidad. La amiga @cautiva-30 nos trae dos temas que se enlazan un poco a la final el señor tiempo y la culpa por nuestra forma de distribuirla y ayudar a otros. Es esa culpa que sentimos al querer hacer todo y no defraudar a nadie. Les comparto el post del tema Ladies of Hive Community Contest #289.

Ahora que estoy de viaje puedo mirar hacia atrás todas las cosas que hacia a diario en casa, desde cocinar, limpiar y salir a trabajar. Darme este descanso donde no tengo que estar pendiente del que voy a cocinar mañana es una nueva adaptación y sin embargo sigo un poco pendiente de lo que se estará preparando mi hijo en Venezuela y pasando disgusto porque sigo viendo que la luz se va muchas horas.

Este lazo entre trabajar hasta los extremos en condiciones agotadoras y ahora sentirme culpable por estar aquí en España casi tratada como una reina donde solo tengo que pedir lo que me falta y llegara a mi puerta rápidamente, me resulta extraño, como dos extremos de una situación. Pasar de trabajar mucho o pasear, pasar de sentirme culpable por estar aquí disfrutando de otros espacios, caminando, tomando fotografías, leyendo historias.

Now that I'm traveling, I can look back on all the things I used to do every day at home, from cooking and cleaning to going out to work. Giving myself this break, where I don't have to worry about what I'm going to cook tomorrow, is a new adjustment, and yet I'm still somewhat concerned about what my son is preparing in Venezuela and feel uneasy because I keep seeing the power outages for so many hours.

This disconnect between working myself to the bone in exhausting conditions and now feeling guilty for being here in Spain, almost treated like royalty, where I only have to ask for what I need and it arrives at my doorstep quickly, feels strange, like two extremes of the same situation. Going from working hard to strolling around, going from feeling guilty for being here enjoying other spaces, walking, taking photographs, reading stories.

Me siento mal pero bien, es extraño estoy cuidando de mi y estar cuidando de otros desde la distancia a veces se vuelve agotador, en cierta forma debo dejar ir esa sensación, ese cansancio y pensar que parte de mi labor esta realizada. Hay tanto que mirar y aprender por aquí, compartir experiencias, buscar detalles y aprender a no sentirme culpable por estar en este otro lado del mundo.

I feel both bad and good. It's strange; taking care of myself and others from a distance can be exhausting. In a way, I need to let go of that feeling, that tiredness, and realize that part of my job is done. There's so much to see and learn here, to share experiences, to look for details, and to learn not to feel guilty for being on this other side of the world.
