Memories with friends at Islamabad | Throwback Thursday

Hello guys. I hope you are all well. Today I will share a beautiful memory with you guys. A month ago I went to Islamabad with my friends and this was my second visit. The first time I went with my school trip then I was very young and I don't remember very well but now it was a great opportunity to visit Islamabad. One of my friend @tahastories1 studies in Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad and @moaz-sabir studies in Iqra University. Both me and my cousin left from here for Islamabad.

Last month was Ramadan and Moaz had invited us to Islamabad during Ramadan and that day we were choosing the best restaurant to have iftar, everyone was giving their different opinions. Before iftar we went to Lok Virsa Museum but it was closed due to Ramadan and now we were waiting for a ride. There we saw 1969 restaurant and it was a very expensive restaurant that is why we did not have iftar there but me and Taha went inside to visit it until the car arrived.

The garden of the restaurant was very big inside and there were a lot of flowers in it. We saw many colors and different types of flowers there and I think one of the reasons why this restaurant is so expensive is that its garden is designed very beautifully to provide a good view to the customers. You guys know that I am very fond of gardening but due to my studies I am not giving much time to gardening right now but after my exams I will start my gardening journey again. Taha and I were taking pictures of the flowers and the pictures were very beautiful due to the good sunshine.

There was a small garden in front of the restaurant which had a lot of flowers of different colors and it was designed like a fountain with cement and it also had only flower plants. A sofa was placed on the left side and behind it was a pink iron grill and there were also a lot of flowers and this place is perfect for taking pictures. This restaurant could have been named Floral Restaurant instead of 1969 because here you will see all kinds of flowers and it feels very happy to see these flowers.

I sat on this sofa and asked @tahastories1 to take a good picture of me and he took a beautiful picture of me. You can see in the picture how blue and clear the sky looks. There were also some plants on the right side and artificial bird nests were placed on them and I also saw some birds in them. We didn't have much time because our other two friends were waiting for us outside.

This is the entrance of this restaurant and there were many flower plants outside as well. I was looking at different types of flowers and adding these types of flowers to my list so that I can grow all these flowers in my garden. We saw some people from other countries in this restaurant who were capturing the beauty of the restaurant like us. We could not go inside this restaurant because only customers are allowed to go there and we did not want to eat there.

Finally our ride arrived and we reached Cheezious about 20 minutes before iftar. It was my first time in Cheezious and my friends said that it's a very good restaurant and the food taste is very good and no doubt they were saying right. The restaurant was in the basement and you can see in the picture that Taha was walking ahead with my bag in his hand. This is proof that Taha is very caring.😄

We were talking to each other and I told everyone to look at the camera I am taking a selfie and everyone took a picture with a smile so that we can keep it as a souvenir. After some time our food was served. You can see three zinger burgers but I ordered pizza because I did not want to eat zinger. We were also served sweet drink and dates. Taha gave me a bite of zinger🍔 and that was really delicious and pizza was also.

After eating, when we came out of the restaurant, we saw that it was night and all the shopping malls had lights on. The night view was very beautiful and people in Islamabad go out more at night. We walked for a while and talked a lot and then after some time we booked our ride and went back to the hostel. This day is very special for me because rarely get a chance to spend time with friends.
