Welcome to All Bloggers

I hope you are all well. As you may have guessed from the title of my post, I am here to share a delicious recipe with you guys. Its name is Chana Chaat. Every time I make a recipe in Creative Sunday and that's why I am improving my cooking day by day. My interest in cooking increases

I have often seen girls who do not know how to cook. But my interest in cooking is increasing day by day. I have a lot of fun when I cook. I try to different types of recipes. I watch videos from YouTube and try them out. I get most of the instructions from my mom and she helps me with some of the recipes

Ingredients

  • Potato (1 kg)

  • Chickpeas (Half kg)

  • Beans (250g)

  • Cabbage (100g)

  • Tomatoes (2)

  • Green chilies (3)

  • Mint

  • Tamarind (100g)

  • Salt (Half Tablespoon)

  • Chat Masala (1 Tablespoon)

Procedure

First we will take 1 kg of potatoes and wash them well and boil them. When they boil, we will separate them from the water and cool them. When they are cool, we will peel. Now we will keep them in a separate pot

Now we will boil 250g beans in one pot and Half kg chickpeas in one pot. Beans boil quickly and chickpeas in about 20 minutes. When both of these are boiled, we will separate them from the water and dry them.

Now cut the potatoes in the same shape and keep them in a separate pot

Now we will take the cabbage and remove the old leaves from the top and cut it. You can also cut it with the help of a cutter, it will cut the cabbage in a same shape

Now we will mix all the ingredients together including chopped potatoes, beans, cabbage and chickpeas

Now we will add two chopped tomatoes and three green chillies. Then we will add half tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of chaat masala in it

Now we will take fresh mint and break some leaves and wash it. I have grown fresh mint in my home as it is very beneficial for our health

Now we will take 100 grams of tamarind and soak it in water for an hour. When you want to make this recipe, soak it for an hour before. So that you can easily add it later. When it has been soaked for an hour, tamarind kernels will be separated from it. And then mint leaves will be added in it

Now we will add this sour water to the Chaat and mix well. Now our Chana Chaat is ready, you can see its final look 😋

It is quite easy to make. It can be made in less time and turns out to be quite tasty. This is the month of Ramadan going on so we make it mostly at Iftar time

The name alone sounds delicious 😅
I like the final look, the process seem very easy. I like the way you handle the knife when chopping the potatoes by the way 😁

I had to look to see if any of my local grocery stores carry tamarind. No, but I can order in online.

It is not a common recipe ingredient used here. I'm not ever sure what it tastes like. 😁
