10 YEARS OF FAN ART 2009-2019 (Star Wars, Disney, Bill & Ted, Marvel, Stephen King, Riddick)
Over the years I've done like any other artist has done, and I created art based on the intellectual property of big scary corporations, and now I present to you all:
Several franchises-worth of art all in one post.
Star Wars Art
For this one, I went with making up my own characters. I named this character Lotuss, a Twi'lek mechanic who lives and works on Tatooine.
I just got finished watching Chapter 5 of The Mandalorian before this post and got a kick out of them doing what I pretty much did in this art a year ago. If you also saw the episode, you will know what I mean.
These three droid assistants to Lotuss are named Huey, Dewy & Louie.
This one I did after the passing of Carrie Fisher, I thought she could use the glowy jedi look.
This is what I would call, uh, a YOUNGER Yoda.
Not young & spry Yoda, but a middle-aged kinda midlife crisis balding but still wearing a mullet & sideburns Yoda.
This was actually the very first of my (non-droid) Star Wars art pieces. This was a fast, multi-layered project. I tried to give the character hints of Coruscant fashion sense, traces of cybernetic implantation, and some evidence of Force use.
In my earlier years, I used to spend alot of time drawing random busted droids on available paper. Pads, notebooks, textbooks, newspapers, magazines, tax forms, memopads, walls.
Disney
I once imagined Jessica & Roger Rabbit with an updated and angrier edge to them. Also, Benny the Cab will fuck you up if you step onto the street or the sidewalk or an alley.
Bill & Ted
I called this one "Bill & Ted's Last Supper" featuring several characters from the two B&T movies.
There is of course the combined form of the brilliant scientist Station, The head of Good Robot Ted and Genghis Khan.
Then we have Napoleon Bonaparte, Evil Robot Ted, the head of Evil Robot Bill and Joan of Arc.
Here we have our prime Bill and Ted in a heroic pose, with an interjection by Abraham Lincoln.
Next is Rufus, Death and Sigmund Freud.
We round out the meal with Billy the Kid, Socrates and the wandering body of Evil Robot Bill.
Excellent.
Marvel
This was my take on that nifty-looking Captain Marvel headgear.
Stephen King
I haven't seen alot of Stephen King fan art. I know there's some out there, I just don't see it too often.
But has anyone ever put Wild Bill in some art with...
a balloon and shit weasel...
riding in a classic car with Annie Wilkes...
Randall Flagg...
and Cujo?
The answer is no. So that's what I did.
And they just all went on a joyride.
And from the old as digital dirt folder...
This is Karl Urban in "The Chronicles of Riddick" waaaaay back when I was trying to get the hang of using a graphic tablet.
Thanks for stopping by to see what sort of fan art I've made over the years. I can't wait to get started in 2020 with even more art inspired by all the big, fancy, expensive franchises that make all the good little nerd boys and girls foam at the mouth!
One last thought, I am REALLY enjoying "The Mandalorian".
@SaintChristopher
I REALLY hope that The Rise of Skywalker is good...

Ha, that is awesome having done that droid art way before. Love that last supper and that Captain Marvel piece close up looks cool.
Hey thanks :-)
