On this occasion we will speak and honor a natural product that inhabits our kitchens and that has been an ally of beauty for millennia: rice.

This incredible ingredient has, according to experts, minerals such as phosphorus and potassium, essential to maintain strong and tight muscle tissues, and to regulate the amount of water in the body.

In addition to being rich in vitamin B1, a great antioxidant that improves circulation, and protects us against aging. It also contains Niacin (vitamin B3), which has been shown to improve the epidermis by optimizing its ability to retain moisture and hydration.

These are the ingredients and the steps to prepare a rice mask for the face.

🌾1.- First step:

First, we must wash the rice until the water runs clear, then we add new drinking water (it is important that the water is drinkable, remember that it is for our face) and let it rest for at least two hours or overnight.

After time, strain the rice and blend with fresh drinking water for approximately 2 minutes.

The remains of rice in the strainer, we can use it as a hair mask or a scrub for the face.

We take the liquid to the kitchen over medium high heat, continuing to beat so that it does not stick or form lumps, until a not very thick cream has formed.

After the cream cools, it is ready to be put in a preferably glass container so that it will be preserved much longer, this mask can be kept in the refrigerator for one or two weeks.

This mask is left to act for 15 to 20 minutes and then it must be removed with plenty of water, if you prefer and want to add a touch of luminosity to your face, you can finish by putting a cube of frozen aloe on the face making circles throughout the area, This also serves to reduce open pores.
