🌺Lily Flowers & Family Members At Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial 🎩

Hi Hivers, how are you today? Sorry for not posting much now, I am back to post about lily flowers as you can see in the picture above and about Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial Park. I went there a few weeks ago with my family and my grandpa's step-son's family that I don't know very well.

When I was at Lincoln Memorial about two weeks ago I learned about Abraham Lincoln, well, sort of because it was mostly about Lincoln's mom and not really about Lincoln himself. When I was walking around with my family I saw these white tiny flowers growing near the paths. I found out that it was called White Snakeroot. It was partly the cause that made Lincoln's mom sick I think because this plant is poisonous.

This looks almost the same as the one in the first picture but it has longer petals and I really like the color. It's like different shades of orange and red. The lily flower in the first picture is more pinkish white than the orange one.

This butterfly is called a Spring Azure butterfly. When I was living in Suriname I saw a lot of these butterflies at the last place my family and I lived. Cambodia and Suriname have a ton of butterflies everywhere, but here in the US there aren't much butterflies anywhere except maybe parks.

My family, my cats and I are moving to a new place with my grandma that is closer to the high school here. The cats are adapting super fast, especially Meow Cat. One of my other cats (Meemo) tried jumping over the fence yesterday when my dad wasn't looking, but my dad caught her in time. Hope you guys are well and I shall see you next time.

As someone that lived in the USA for over 20 years I can say that you are correct. I don't know why that is. Have you seen a monarch butterfly yet? Those were the only common ones I remember from when I was your age. They are lovely, but they are poisonous and this is why there are so many of them. The other insects know that if they eat this one, they will die... or something like that. Don't tell your science teacher some random guy on the internet knows more than she does because I don't.
Also, I am amazed at how well you speak English now. You must be really smart!
The flowers are beautiful. I haven't seen anything quite like them here in the Philippines. By the way, the second photo was captured wonderfully, the butterfly landing on the flower made it even more stunning.
