Is the Scrapping of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine from Usage in the United Kingdom Political or What?

The first thing that came into my mind after reading about the efficacy of the AstraZeneca vaccine was, is the efficacy of the vaccine a reality or a propaganda or even a strategy of promoting the British own produced vaccine. Whether it's a propaganda or a reality the major aim of the Covid-19 vaccine production was to help reduce the mortality rate or even eliminate completely the coronavirus from existence. Looking at the death rate at the heat of the covid-19 pandemic last year you can absolutely say that the UK had one of the lowest death cases associated with the covid-19 in Europe and this was achievable through the help of the Oxford experimented AstraZeneca vaccine. But unfortunately, today you can barely hear of the vaccine in circulation both in UK and other parts of Europe. My question is was the abandonment of the vaccine political or base on some other disadvantages or side effects of the vaccine?

What is the Original Purpose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine
During the first phase of the coronavirus attack across Europe, scientists from the Oxford University came together to develop a vaccine known as the AstraZeneca vaccine. If the above assertion by Clive Did is true then why is the vaccine currently neglected by the United Kingdom in recent times? The older and vulnerable in the society have benefited from the AZ jab and this have been proven in the lower mortality rate in the UK when compared to other parts of Europe.

Why Abandon the AstraZeneca Vaccine
Many scientists in the United Kingdom have come to a conclusion that the AZ jab has affected people under 40s. Intake of the vaccine could result in blood clot for the younger and vibrant population. I'm of the opinion that if the vaccine can help the older and vulnerable in the society, then it should be used for the set of people it's originally made for rather than abandoning it leading to wastage of resources and time put in be the scientists in the vaccine production. Although one of the reasons of the vaccine production was for experimental purposes. Those below in their 40s and below can use other vaccine leading to a balanced society in terms of combating the covid-19 pandemic.

The Politics Behind Abandoning the AstraZeneca Vaccine
There was an original plan by Clive Dix to prepare for the vaccine-resistant Covid strains which was ignored by the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. I believe that the vaccine-resistant strain was an improvement of the AstraZeneca vaccine to help fight other variants of the covid-19. For the government to ignored the vaccine-resistant strain means that there's politics attached to the covid-19 pandemic. Is either someone is gaining or losing from the pandemic. Although that's my personal opinion, the Prime Minister might have his own point of ignoring the vaccine-resistant strain process.

In conclusion, if the AstraZeneca vaccine has the potencies of reducing or eliminating the covid-19 pandemic, them it should be given a chance to thrive in the United Kingdom. Thanks for stopping by my post.
