Creative-Sunday: Colourful Hand

A good sunday to all guests, hive learner members, moderators and admin.

So on a norm I usually showcase designs dones by me in Photoshop. However, today will be sort of different as I have decided to improve on a previous sketch of a hand done by me on a white paper. Initially I was deliberating on leaving the sketch bland the way it was. Then at some point, I thought, why not add some cool mixture of colours using fine lines going both horizontally and vertically then various variations of bith thick and light shading. These mixtures of colours were added using a different color of thin-mouthed permanent markers.

Below is the final result of the creative process after taking a picture and running a paint color/liquify effect in photoshop

Now an outline of the creative process mainly centered on adding colors

The image you see above is an original sketch of a hand done by me using a black pen a couple of weeks ago. This above sketch served as the basis for all creative color processes done which will be highlighted in sunsequent images

Starting with curved vertical lines and using a bright color which I definitely dont know the name, frankly I have no idea the name of this colour, but if you ask me, it looks like red, but its not red, looks like wine but its not wine, anyways it a color and its serving a creative purpose

Proceeding to drawing curved vertical line using using a red marker. This was drawn until a net like appearance was formed which was the aim.

In this stage of the image, a combination of green and a second colour was used. Now I remember the second color was actually a dark blue color with a little bit of red by accident . The dark blue looks more like black because of the camera.

The image above shows some level of color addition which has taken place on a third and fourth layer and progressed to a fifth layer close to the thumb

Fifth layer done here but I decided to change the pattern for shading the region below the wrist.

Shading the first three fingers using deep shading technique and also forming different color layers below the wrist region before actually proceeding to shade the last two fingers and the thumb. These involved more of bright colours instead of dull colour

This shows the shading of the index finger and the thumb together with the addition of finishing touches where necessary. This image will be taken be taken to photoshop for slight photo manipulation and editring

No process taking place here, just an image to showcase the tool I used for this creative colouring. These are basically permanent markers of artistic purpose

The image you see above shows the final result without Photoshop editting , the slightly brown patch you see is just the shadow turned yellowish brown by the color effect
