Hope Is Never Lost: You Can Still Make It

It is true that there are things you had planned to have achieved this year and they may look like they are unforthcoming. Well, this is just to remind you that the year is not yet over - of course, anything can still happen. You only need to keep your hopes alive and refuse to quit your actions. If you will not give up, then it will be possible to achieve your dream. Always remember that as long as there is life, and as long as there is breath in the nostrils, then there is still hope. What you need to do is to keep putting in the required actions and have hopes that they will turn out positive.

In a football match for example, it is never over until the referee has sounded the final whistle for stoppage. In fact, even in extra time, goals can be scores, so it is only the final whistle that should be where you draw the line. I have seen a football match in which a team scored twice in the extra time to win the match. In that match, they were one goal down and the match was about ending, yet they kept their hopes alive and believed that anything can happen. After the normal 90mins, a couple of minutes were added to compensate for the time wasted on injuries and all, so the extra time was about 7 minutes or so. Within 4 minutes of added time, they equalized and it boosted their hopes. In just a couple of seconds to go, they won a penalty from a handball, which they converted and won the match. They came from behind to win it even when everyone thought it was over.

The year is coming to an end but it has not ended, so do not give up on the year; not yet, because what you had planned can still happen. As a matter of fact, in the last minute, things can turn around in your favour. Do not reduce on your actions, and do not allow anything to dampen your morales. Remember that it does not take time for things to turn around, it takes the right actions done at the right time. Just one last attempt that you make might be what will trigger the breakthrough that you have been waiting for, so do not quit on the year.

If you take a look at yourself now and then compare it to how you were at the start of the year, you will agree with me that you have made some progresses. If you could achieve what you did, what makes you think that you cannot still achieve something bigger before the year runs out? The times when almost everyone has concluded that it is over is when the unexpected can happen. If you will take a look at what you have achieved in the time past, you will discover that some of them came at times when you almost lost hope. If it can happen for you then, what makes you think that it cannot happen again and again?

In life, nothing ever gets late as long as life is sustained. What a lot of people might look at as a dead-end might just be a bend, so keep going. Even if you have not seen or achieved anything worthwhile for the year, it does not mean you cannot still active it before the year runs out. Of course, the few days remaining can be more productive that the past months joined together, so refuse to give up. As long as you keep trying and keep making attempts, then the possibilities of achieving your desired goals are there. Always have in mind that in life, it is only over when you have agreed that it is. So as long as you do not say it is over, then you still have fair chances to keep trying.

No matter how the year had been for you, it does not determine the final lap of the year. I remember what I told a friend at one time; I told her that "it is the final moment that crowns the effort of the previous." What this means is that success can still happen even at the last minute. Until the year is over, there is still big chances to make something worthwhile this year.
