The Future Starts From The Present
As a way of introduction, I want to remind you that the future does not just appear from the limbo, it is the sum total of the actions of the present that ultimately births the future. To think that your present actions will not have effect on your future is to think amiss. In the same way, to think that the future will create itself or will take care of itself is to think in error. It is what you sow into the future through your actions of the present that you will see in the future. Anything that happens does not just happen without something prompting it or making it to come to pass.
If something is going in a particularly negative way or a negative trend has been occurring and reoccurring, it has a propensity to continue, unless a counter action is taken. Actions and effects are mutually inclusive. That is, actions are the condition precedence for effects. A good future is not something you just wish for, rather you have to work it out and put in the required actions at the right time. If you do not like the way something is happening or you do not like a particular change, you have to create your own actions to create your own change.
It is worthy to note that change is not something that manifests from nowhere, actions have to trigger it. If you did something in the past and got a particular result but you are not too comfortable with it or the result is not up to par with what you expect, it is time to do something differently so that you can get a different result in the future. If you do the same thing that you did in the past and expect to have a different result in the future, you will expect in futility. The truth is that you can create the kind of result you want in the future from the actions that you undertake today.
It is worth noting that actions that will deliver the required results must be right actions and done rightly. However, that is not just the only requirement, but the actions must be prompt and timely. The reason why some people's actions do not deliver the best result is because of the deficiency in timing. As a matter of fact, delaying an action that you should have done yesterday may render the action null. If you will create your desired future, then you should understand that the time to start to take actions is now.
What you are meant to do today, you should endeavour to do it today. A few years back, I went for an excursion at a blacksmithing factory. I watched the way metal was melted and moulded into various shapes. I realized that the best time to strike the iron with the hammer to make the best impact is when it is red-hot, when it is drawn from the blast furnace. If you wait for the iron to cool down before you strike, the strike will not count much. I understood that timing is a very crucial requirement in the actions that everyone takes. If you understand the right timing and take the actions at the right time, there will be a level of ease that will be experienced.
As you take actions today, you have to first consider the potential effects of the actions - and that includes inactions. If your inaction will be potentially negative in the future than an action, then it is required of you to go ahead and perform the action. Be willing to go all out and take risks. Just to tell you, the future does not belong to those that are scared to take risks. As long as you want success in the future, you must be prepared to take risks. Obviously, it is better to take risks because not taking risks is already a higher level of risk. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the risk should be logical, calculated, well-planned, and done with knowledge.
