How should Christians practice meditation? || MCGI topic review

Greetings!

According to Bro. Eli, meditation in the biblical manner is the law of God, not the law of men. What this means is that biblical meditation is centered on the law of God and not that of men.

The law of men to me is earthly and full of evil, but that of God is holy and can better off one's life.

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

This scriptural verse above is telling us where our delight should be, which is the law of the LORD; now, this scripture is not telling us about our delight in the law alone, but also to meditate in it.

Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Also, Titus 1:14 is telling us not to give heed to Jewish fables which are otherwise known as the law of men which are not true.

Psalms 119:97 O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all day. This scriptural verse is telling us how beautiful the law of God is and that we should endeavor to meditate day and night on it.

In conclusion, to meditate according to the bible is to study the law of God and to stay away from the jewish fables and the commandments of men which are far from the truth. So, let's all endeavor to always meditate on the law of God.

Thanks for reading.
