No need for banning
Greetings!

Excess of everything they say is bad. When we do things in excess, there's always a repercussions to it. Even if it's water that we take too much, there's always the other side of it to our system as humans.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is, “sugar ban.”
When I saw the topic of this prompt, I was confused as to what to say or write about it, but as I'm writing it now, one thing that came to my mind is that, instead of the banning of sugar or being regulated, people should be rather sensitized on the effect of it usage.
One thing that cannot be disputed is that sugar is a household stuff that people use on a daily basis. It can be said that all the households of the world make use of sugar. Although there are side effects of taking too much of it which can cause illness in our organs as it happened to some that's very close to me.
In the year 2011, someone very dear to me was diagnosed of diabetes and she was told that her intake of sugar was too much and as a result, she was placed on drug and on what to eat, and after she and her family had spent so much, she later died and that was the end of her. Had it been she has regulated it by herself, maybe she would have had the sickness not to talk of losing her life to the dreadful diabetes.
One thing that I have gotten to know about this regulation of a thing most especially in my country is that its effects are not that seen in the people or even in the public space.
Had it been that people adhere strictly to the rules of the regulation, people wouldn't have been a drunkard. In fact, we still see people driving after they might have drunk themselves to stupor.
So, this is to show that regulation isn't really working here in my country and for this reason, I believe so much in sensitization and this to me should be prioritized to banning sugar or even regulating it.
If people were being told the effect of high levels of sugar intake on their health system, then I believe they would change by themselves.
Another thing I have realized is that people don't like to be forced to do things. I have seen people just because they were forced to do things due to regulation not doing what they have been regulated on.
So, people should be sensitized by those who have known about the negative effects of taking a lot of sugar and by doing so and with proper awareness, people would take heed to their sensitization and change to limit their sugar intake.
In conclusion, instead of the banning of sugar, another measure should be taken and to be sensitizing people on the good and bad side of it should be employed.
