The house of prayer in Jerusalem part 2 || MCGI topic review

Greetings!

“The house prayer in Jerusalem” is a great topic as delivered by bro. Eli Soriano in the video I just finished watching.

The review was superb. I got to know that there's no more house of prayer in Jerusalem any longer as said by bro. Eli.

The way Jesus Christ foretold the destruction of the house of prayer in the book of Matthew 24: 1-2 & 15 was so comprehensive, telling the disciple saying, “verily I said unto you, there shall be no left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

This is a pointer to the destruction and desolation of the temple in Jerusalem as also foretold by Daniel in the book of Daniel 9:2 about what prophet Jeremiah said in Jeremiah 4:11-13 about the desolation and destruction of the temple as well, where he talked about the whirlwind destroying the temple.

Bro. Eli made us understand that this kind of wind is not a physical wind that cleanse, but that kind of a wind that destroys and that's exactly what we saw in the destruction of the temple in the 70 AD by the Roman army as led by Titus.

So, before my own conclusion on the topic, I would like to link the destruction of the temple to how the place was turned to the house and den of thieves as we discussed in the part 1 of the teaching series of the house of prayer in Jerusalem.

In my own opinion, had it been that the place was used for its main purpose, maybe it wouldn't have been destroyed in the 70 AD as said by Bro. Eli.

However, the house of prayer in Jerusalem is no more, but we all can make our heart and mind our own house of prayer.

Thanks for reading.
