The life of an adult

Greetings!

The saying that adulthood is a scam is not just an ordinary saying, but a saying with a deeper meaning. If we are to look at it very closely, one would come to the realization that it is true and this is not just because of anything, but because of the price and responsibilities that come with adulthood.

Having said so much about adulthood and everything that surrounds it, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about. “Coping with Adulthood.”

To cope with adulthood is not something that's easy, but with hard work and discipline one would be able to find his or her when it comes to dealing and coping with adulthood. When I was small, I thought adulthood is synonymous to freedom and enjoyment and there's nothing I so much craved for back then than growing up to become an adult, but even at that, whenever I looked at my parent and I see them sacrificing for our being, I used to be feel it for them, but at the same time. I used to aspire to become an adult at all costs.

However, when the time for me to become an adult fully came. I embraced it with so much joy and passion and this time came when I lost my mum and during those time, I had no one to fend for me and my younger brother except me and that was how I became an adult at a tender age.

I started to bore the burden of an adult by taking care of my younger brother's responsibilities and to be candid it was too much for me to bear, but with my determination and dedication, I was able to handle my adult life very well that I didn't even feel the impact of adult as I would have felt it when I started my own family.

Although everything is not yet uhuru, I can say that my early experience of adulthood has really helped me in my adult life journey.
