Four Years or Four Months???

Oh yes! I created an account January 8,2018. That's four years ago! It is interesting because, I only thought I've been on this chain for four months.
How exactly does my hive birthday feel?

MY BLOCKCHAIN STORY

My love for chess brought me here, with no knowledge of crypto, I joined Steem, I joined just to play chess back then in 2018, I did write some chess contents from the online tournaments then, in subsequent months, I even started reporting bugs to @utopian on open source "Apps". I really didn't know much about the Blockchain or how it worked. All i knew was i earned a little as a student and i played chess. It was so cool.

On July 28th, 2018, Six months after i created an account, i called it quit, i didn't earn from reporting bugs again plus i earned little writing about chess, I got fed up and left.

While i was away, Hive was Born On The Blockchain! I didn't hear about it because i left without even being part of the Chain, I didn't communicate with anyone, i didn't even care about my keys, Everything was history to me. Poor poor Sam!.... THE END...

Oh No! The Story didn't End There!

Hive was watching me, It was calling me, I kept drifting pass it because i never heard that name. At this point(2020), I knew about crypto but i didn't still know about hive. But hive kept on calling me.

I understood fully when i saw a link on noisecash by @stayoutoftherz, it was an invitation for an Hivechess event. I recognized the name so I followed it up, and boom that was how i picked up the call!

And that's the simple truth, I made a post after 3 years on the 20th of September 2021, that's almost four months ago and guess what? I've made 3 times more than i worked for in 2020!

I have also made alot of friends, Even,i have started a family, Above all, I have been happy.

I don't worry about the price of hive because Hive is an opportunity to me, more like a blessing considering the fact that i couldn't find my steem keys, I was saved by my phone synchronisation. I had a key to login steem backedup.

Four years or four months don't matter to me, I'm happy to be here, I'm excited to connect to other people and glad to play chess....

I can't really wait to be honest. I've been reading and listening. The @ragnarok.game AMA was on point, plus my favourite author @edicted seems to write about it a lot. So, everything seems cool.. I certainly would post my Ideas soon, I just love how the Hive Blockchain is shaping up this year.
